Best animal hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee (TN) 2024

First, I want to say that Heidi is an amazing groomer. I'm sad to lose her. I sincerely wanted to remain a client at this business, but I cannot. My two babies, who have a vet and are always up to date on everything (except bordatella which they get at this clinic because they are getting groomed here), were given actual exams by a vet WITHOUT my knowledge or permission. This may be their policy, but I was told nothing about it. They were only brought to this clinic for the purpose of getting groomed. This woman who examined them is not their doctor. Their yearly exam wasn't due for a couple of months. And then I was charged for the exams! (Which I paid. I absolutely should not have, in hindsight.) I have never had such a blatently underhanded thing done to me at any business. I was taken advantage of big time. I don't like writing negative reviews but this was so over the top, I felt others need to know how this clinic operates. ~Karen

This is by far the BEST Vet that I have ever experienced. Dr.Russell is the sweetest, straight forward and most compassionate Dr I have encountered. We did end up needing to make the hard decision to put our baby down and the entire staff was the greatest and sent a sympathy card which meant a LOT. I can not say enough kind things about them. I brought my cat here with UTI, these people are great, very caring and compassionate. Glad they're open 24/7, I needed them late on a Saturday, they got me right in. They communicate with you, you're not left sitting there worrying what's happening. It's a bit expensive but I didn't care. If I needed them, I'd do it again. ~Bob
