Avoid the Union Ave. location. They were rude, lazy, and so unhelpful and I am being kind and choosing my words. They represented the attitude of why I moved from Memphis! The W. Illinois people were AMAZING! It was clean, organized and the person who helped me saved the day. This was after 2 other places cancelled my existing order. Such a cluster F*** at Union and Illinois location was again AWESOME and AMAZING! Just start there to avoid any headaches. ~Wendy

We reserved the place to drop our trailer and then also rentef out a storage unit( which as per the main center representative was booked after they took our credit card info. When we arrived they denied to take the trailer, and also gave us a uncleaned storage unit. After a month today we made another reservation for a small trailer and when we reached they didn't have it. And instead of saying sorry, the staff was very rude and not at all helpful. Here are a few pics and video of us cleaning someone else s stuff ourselves. ~Ramit

Do not rent from here, they do not honor your reservations! We set up a reservation 3 days prior to our moving day and confirmed it. 2 minutes before pick up, we’re almost there, they called and said they no longer had our truck available. We asked if there was anything else, we were put on hold for over 30 minutes and we eventually hung up because we decided to rent from Home Depot/Penske on Truse instead. ~Carissa

I stopped in to rent a unit for the next few months. I asked to see the units to be able to visualize if the space would fit my items. I was asked what type of items I would be storing as to what type of unit would best meet my needs. That showed me the staff was knowledgeable. Additionally, I was made aware of the cost upfront vs. Waiting until I signed the documents. Most importantly I felt cared about as a human as I explained my need for the unit. Being about more than a sale is a commendable trait and for that I'm appreciative Marcette. ~Heather

I needed a storage unit with little notice and contacted Extra Space storage. I had reserved a unit On Line and contacted the Office the following day. My store representative assisted me in.securing a storage unit and I was able to move items in that same day. She has been very instrumental in meeting my families needs. After a short period of time we were able to downsize to a smaller unit and was able to do so with no problem. I've been an Extra Space customer off and on since 2015' and have always had a pleasant experiance. Thanks ~michael

Just going to share the feedback I provided on their move out feedback form: I rented the unit In a rush because I was moving out of town. By the time I was done loading my truck up to bring some stuff over, the office hours were closed, so it was late. I got to my unit and it had the former renter's lock still on it AND one of the foreclosure locks on it as well. I called customer service who reached out to the local manager. The local manager didn't answer so she left him a message. She also sent him an email and told me I would get a follow up. I got 0 follow up. I had to leave town the following morning and would not have time to stop by, so I assumed they would get it handled. Then I got a bill for another month. I went ahead and paid it knowing I would be back In a few days ago I could handle it then. I got in this last Sunday and was able to go by on Monday after work. The previous renter's lock was STILL there, the foreclosure lock was STILL there. So you had a month and a half to fix my access issue and NEVER did. The lady at the desk was nice when I went in though and she got my refund taken care of... she's cool at least. ~Dave
