6 Best pharmacy in Dallas, Texas (TX) 2024

The pharmacy did not contact/notify me about restocking a prescription that was covered on my recently expired plan. They restock a Rx after 12 days. A work trip and schedule did not allow me to pick up in this timeframe. They restocked the prescription that was 100% covered by insurance. Once it's restocked, they need to call it back in, but the plan was terminated at that time, taking my out of pocket cost from $0 to $360. This all could have easily been avoided with a simple direct communication of restocking purpose/notice. ~Greg

5 stars minus 3 for a $hit attitude black chick voice running me off the phone by just hanging up b4 even fully answering if the Rx's I left a VM about were retrieved & SENT to my doc office. "Yeah, the pharmacist is checking the voicemails now so they gettin' it." then click... The end. I didn't ask if "they gettin' it" which implies "they gettin'" ALL the vm's. It didn't answer if they were showing the 2 specific ones for my husband that I left last night, I asked if they were showing the 2 for the specifically named person I inquired about. I did customer service for 12 years (2007 to 2019) at a local compounding pharmacy. I get it, yer swamped. Everyone in the working arena is if they're doing their dang job proper! However, the 1 time I acted sort of like that to a patient & the pharmacist owner heard me, she wrote me up & threatened my job if it happened again. That says that $hit attitudes are NO BUENO! Capiche? The remaining 2 stars are for decent pricing with Good RX & for usually fast filling once started there! ~RockaRolla

MOVE YOUR PRESCRIPTION HERE! Great Pharmacist and even BETTER Pharmacy Techs! I can say that this location has made some drastic improvements over the years. I used to HATE going here, with the sole reason being the cost and proximity. Now, they've hired more competent staff. Shout out to Pharmacy Tech, Danara for her excellent customer service, quality of customer care, and overall knowledge. WalMart should truly recognize folks like her way more than just sending a survey. Nevertheless, I am keeping my prescription over here, with no plans on changing it. Give them a try! ~RACC

My pcp called in my rx on 3/3/22,I never received an alert stating my rx's were ready,I had to call. My daughter picked up one on 3/4/22 and the other one to be ready after 2pm. I called back today,3/5/22 and was advised that the other medication was on back order. I asked the pharmacy tech why I never received an alert and when I could get the second medication. She said she didn't know why I never received an alert and the pharmacist told her to tell me that I need to call other pharmacies to see if the medication was available,how could I when my pcp called the rx's in. It's not my responsibility, I would think that since it was called in by the doctor,that the pharmacy would could contact the doctors office to let them know the status. I will never ever have another rx filled at Walmart pharmacy on Central and Hall street. It's a wrap. Not happy ~marilyn
