Just nights ago at 10:10 pm I went to the closest 7-Eleven to the location I was in. I love 7-Eleven they always have good deals on what I need, the people are friendly and they isn't usually a long line. But, this night my normal run with the well known friendly encounters. Red flag #1 the cashier was pacing back-and-forth. Red flag #2 she had her backpack on as if she was extremely ready to leave. Red flag #3 there was a small line of 3 people. Red flag #4 I was in one of the more crime prone parts of this town. After about about 5 minutes or so I finally made it to the counter. I as for 2 packs of Newports. I then reach for my wallet and gave her a 50 dollar bill. At this point with the look on her face I knew that all of my spidy senses were spot on! She began yelling " I ain't opening up the safe for that! And we just had shift change too. No! All we do is get robbed over here. I'm not opening no safe!" Normally I would have asked for their leadership and so forth and so on. But, I was so taken aback in the lack of communication skills, respect for the customers plus unacceptable representation of the company. Hints, I was speechless! So, I said excuse me? Where she continued on with her rant. I smh and walked out got in my car and located the next nearest 7-Eleven. Mind you gas is expensive and I use premium. Once I made it to there I informed them of my recent experience and they were floored. Then they explained the shift change process but they informed me that with my purchase they could have completed the sale. Therefore, give me apologies in for her ignorance. I will not be returning to that location again. #Disheartening ~CoOkIe

UPPER MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO KNOW EMPLOYEES ARE STEALING FROM CUSTOMERS. I want the people to know in Killeen to please make sure you get a receipt when paying for gas even if you prepay. Countless times I’ve been prepaying for gas and always notice that I’m being charged the full amount. I pumped gas for $25 just a few days ago and my car only took $21.50 yet I was still charged the full $25. The employees are pocketing them difference if you are not getting a receipt. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!!! Make sure you all are asking for a receipt and watch your accounts. ~MM

This is the most unprofessional Dollar General I have ever visited. I was followed around the store and asked if I was going to purchase items in my HAND. This employee was eating on the sales floor and not assisting other customers. Sara was extremely slow on the register and refused to ask for help from another lady who was seemingly wondering. This all happened at approx 715 on 17 November 2021. Very displeased with this service! ~Timothy

I'll be honest, I've had run ins with the cashiers at this location. I don't know why this store hires some of the worst ones. They either don't know how to count, bag, or they're just rude. The one on Fort Hood street is so much better. The one on West Stan Schlueter, not so much. It used to be one of the more clean and organized Dollar Trees in the area, but they always seem so behind on stocking now. It's better than the one located by Hobby Lobby though if that helps at all. ~Ralna

Went in for a pair of shoes, and they were lovely! The staff where nice and the overall experience was pleasant. The shoes were in great quality and I’m still getting use out of them many months later! ~iwantllamas

I typically get the same thing from here. but the charro beans are always on point😩🤤 they have amazing margaritas. And a shot of patron always makes the night more fun. Great service and amazing food. Always a great environment. ~Marlene
