Best furniture store in Chesapeake, Virginia (VA) 2024

Absolutely wonderful experience at this Target. All the workers here helped me with finding the items I need as well as helping me load them into my car. I appreciate Ms. Kennedy helping me without prompt and starting the chain of other workers help. ~Bryce

My wife and I visited the Greenbrier store on Tuesday with the intention of replacing an old recliner. I was greeted by a wonderful young lady who listened intently to my desires for a new chair. As it turns out she was the designer, so she introduced me to David, the store manager to assist me. He took notes and worked to show me products that would best fit my needs. While we were talking my wife began wandering the store and hinted at a sofa she liked but was not elated with the basic material colors. This is where David really became invaluable in helping us. We were interested in leather, and were shown dozens of different colors. My wife fell in love with a particular sample and David began working up the price for us, getting all available discounts. We walked out spending a lot more than I originally intened, but the furniture was perfect for us, and we were well satisified. In all, the staff at La-Z-Boy are extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and did not once push us to make a purchase. They provided us just the amount of information we needed and showed outstanding professionalism in handling our sale. I am very happy buying from this store and these folks. In addition, I am happy to buy products made in America!!! ~Mike

My fiancee and I went to Mattress Firm on Portsmouth Blvd in Chesapeake last week, and Ruben, one of the sleep experts, assisted us. He was tremendously helpful and walked us through a variety of mattresses to help us find the mattress that is best suited for us. He was informative and determined to help us find a mattress, but he was not pushy in any way. Also, when I told him that we were trying to stay on a budget, he was understanding and helped us find a great mattress that was an excellent deal and which didn't break the bank. He was very kind and made our shopping experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. The delivery guys were also great. We definitely plan on returning to Mattress Firm for our next purchase and recommending them to our friends and family. ~Nathan
