I so badly want to love this store it's Target & they have everything I need but I'm so over the way the employees treat the customers at this location. There are days where you get a few of them who are nice & helpful but majority of the time it's just straight attitude. I'm also over being watched like a hawk when checking out or simply looking at items. The employees don't follow the teens coming in stealing makeup & whatever they can easily take or the Mom with the stroller who walked out with items UNDER the stroller without paying but instead they watch those of us actually paying or shopping 😂 Don't expect a basic greeting either. Instead you'll be looked at like "what are you doing here?!" I agree with the other lower rated reviews about the long line for self check out. There were a total of 3 women standing at the self check out at 3PM on 3/14/2022 directing people when to go to the machines & watching as if you were about to run out with your items. The short lady with pink hair was so obvious that I almost lost it on her. My entire family has watched far too many people walk in, steal & leave without a single person watching them while we get followed by the employees when obviously shopping. There are plenty of registers but maybe 2-3 open so you're forced to stand in the long self check out line if you don't want to wait for a cashier to finish with their long line. Like I said before, I want to love this Target but there are way better Target's in the area. Love how inclusive Target wants to be but yet they still can't stop with the profiling.... ~Ashella
This is the best Walmart I have been to. The location is great! The store is kept clean and stocked. It feels like you’re in a target not a Walmart when you’re shopping here. You can find what you need instead of the shelves being empty. If you have any trouble finding an item you can find an employer easily and they know which aisle to direct you to. The employees are friendly. They have a lot of self check out registers so they’re usually not a wait in line. I recommend this Walmart! It’s an elevated experience to other Walmart. ~Rebecca
I actually liked the Pan AM Safeway but I will not be shopping there anymore. On 6/24 my car was damaged by shopping carts in the Pan Am Safeway parking lot. The parking lot is on a grade. At the time there were carts all over the parking lot. I spoke to the manager, who told me that Safeway is not responsible, who said he would create an incident in their system, and someone from Safeway would call. Despite me visiting the manager in the store and calling him the incident was never created despite him saying that it was, he would find out what happened, and call me back (which he never did). The incident not being in the system was verified by Safeway customer service and their insurance company. Safeway’s insurance company told me that they have paid these types of claims but they cannot as they can only act on an incident created in the system. Seems to me it is intentional not to create the incident as I will not be recompensed and the management of the store will be free and clear of taking responsibility for the state of the parking lot. Their shopping cart, their parking lot on a grade, and their poor practices in keeping the lot clear of carts resulted in this happening. I think that folks should decide if they want to shop here knowing that Safeway’s parking lot is on a grade, they do a poor job of clearing carts, and you will not be reimbursed if a cart runs into your car. See the uploaded pics and how Pan Am Safeway protects your car while you are spending your money in their store. Look below and see the 'owner' response addressing me as Tracie. I guess the Safeway bot that runs and responds to complaints saying they will help out doesn't do a good job on names. All joking aside. If the 'owner' had read the complaint they would see that I had already contacted customer service. They should be able to get my contact info from customer service as I had numerous conversations and emails with them all to no avail. I will post if I hear back from them but I suspect this is just an attempt to make it look like Safeway cares but really is not going to do anything. ~Michael
My closest grocery store. Expensive if you don't use a membership card or the app. Get the app to get extra discounts you can actually use. They replaced Shoppers, which we really liked. They kept many of the people who are nice and helpful. They offer a very nice deli, lots of prepared foods for parties, and a good bakery. They offer a lot of dried and fresh produce. The freshness and selection of meat and produce is good, though they don't have much fresh seafood. They have fewer quality store brand items than Costco or Shoppers that we buy. Like all the grocery stores now, they encourage self checkout and you may have to use it as they often have few checkout clerks available. Parking is convenient and plentiful, though some of the spots close in need repair. The carts are good and the wrangler keeps them in good order. ~Tony
This was my first time at the Fairfax area, so I decided to stop here to purchase some groceries. I spent over 20 dollars with the discounts, but that is due to inflation (some items are pricier than others). However, the customer service needs serious improvement. The cashier that rang me up did not acknowledge my presence. No thank you, no "Have a good/great/nice day", etc. Terrible first impression. ~Hilawe
This is a cozy shop with a cafe inside. I really liked the service. The attentive lady at the checkout told us about everything they have in the cafe. I really liked the Olivier salad (they call it Stolichniy ), as well as eclairs. The only thing that is strange is that there are no price tags on the goods. But anyway we will definitely come back there again. ~Volodymyr
While generally enjoy shopping at Aldi, this particular store is filthy, all the time. This is just one example. Dead flies. These flies have been here for awhile. Floors aren't scrubbed. Dirt and trash everywhere. ~Chad
Like any other Wegmans; this place is clean and well organized and just a fantastic grocery store. Their food bars are open at this location, at least the Wing Bar and Asian Bar were. The mushroom and truffle pizza was really good from the counter. This Wegmans appears to be multiple floors although I did not walk to the other floors since I thought it was just additional dining areas. ~Gabriel
