5 Best bank in Tacoma, Washington (WA) 2024

We have been using Opus Bank for a couple of years now and have always had the absolute best customer service from them. When we moved out of state we decided to continue banking with Opus as we could manage our accounts via mobile and still continue to receive the best personal customer service over the phone and email. ~Bruce

Handed my paycheck directly to a teller on Thursday and they lost the money. Called the 800 number and they said even with the deposit receipt they can't help me until the bank reopens on Monday. Nothing they can do about the fact they lost my money until after the weekend and they said it might take a few days to find out what happened. Best part is I go on vacation Monday. Safe to say Umpqua ruined my vacation with their incompetents. Definitely not the world's greatest bank. ~Joel

I had such a wonderful welcome and experience setting up my business account with Sound Community Bank. I will be happy here, I believe it. The Branch Manager (Maria) even gave me a piggy bank to give to my daughter! She's just 9 months, but I guess it no better time to start saving, than now. :) I'm most thankful! ~Tracey
