I would like to start of by saying I am not a "sneaker person" so that's why I never went in this store before, but now I will never go anywhere else. I went into the Baton Rouge store today because I saw the display for the new Jurassic Park Reebok's and I knew my fiancé had to have them. He's a big dinosaur nerd so I knew he would love them. Spoiler alert: I was right lol! The guys working there were so nice and down to earth. I was immediately asked if I needed help and after I secured the Dino shoes I asked the guy helping me if he could recommend some comfortable shoes (I'm a vet tech and I am on my feet ALL DAY) that were also cute and he was immediately like "I got you!" He explained why he liked the ones he picked and we talked about why others weren't the best and we picked out an awesome pair that are literally the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. We had to exchange the Dino shoes for a different size and the guys talked to us again about different shoes and were just really nice. It's such a cool store with a really unique selection! I'm so surprised that the reviews are kinda low but it looks like a lot of the issues were online, so go to the Baton Rouge store because they are awesome!

Politics is by far the best shoe store from Louisiana to Texas. Their staff always treats their customers like family, their stores are always very clean and organized displaying the latest trends. If they don’t have something, they will always try to help you get it! I cannot say enough about their hospitality and ability to make you feel right at home while picking out your next pair of sneakers for the world to see!

This shop definitely has the best selection of sneakers and streetwear in Baton Rouge. Send most of my money there for my casual clothes and shoes. No other store even comes close.

If you aint in their "click" then good luck finding or buying some shoes. They treat shoes like the cure for cancer and treat customers like field maintenance on a plantation.

Customer service is non existent, you'd probably have to travel to the store location to get anything takin Care of.
