This is lovely place to eat. If you go for the brunch, be prepared to wait quite while for your food, but our family enjoyed our time together while we waited. The crab cakes were quite good, but the breakfast quiche was dry.

Very good food. Blacken catfish with shrimp sauce over rice was outstanding. Fire cracker shrimp and crab cakes for appetizers were good to share. Pork ribeye has a sweet sauce and glazed bacon that was very good but a little too sweet for our taste. Ribeye was a nice large flavorful steak but was cooked more than ordered. Don't be in a hurry. There was time for conversation and laughter. Pricing is very fair considering quantity and quality of the food.

It definitely needs some work. Took forever to get our meals. Then after getting our ticket, we realized we never got our appetizers. The prices need changed on the menus also. Everything is $3-$5 more than listed. The food is actually good once you finally get it. Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes Delivery: No … More

As always my pork ribeye was very tasty but my food was ICE COLD when I got it so I didn't eat but a couple of mysweet potato fries (which I LOVE). I understand servers are hard to find and they were busy so I never complained. I would normally give them a 5⭐ but tonight it wasn't the normal so..... Yes, I will definitely be back because I love this place!!!!

What a fantastic hidden gem we were just at! We are heading home to Houston and stopped in and wound up staying the night at the lodge. I tell you what, you will not find nicer folks or friendly service anywhere! Not to mention the food is exceptional! We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this place! Come at least for their Saturday brunch! The GM Jan was absolutely the best ever, she totally treated us like family! Thanks so much for a wonderful farewell! Can't wait to come back!!!

If you like golfing, and fishing, you might love this place. This is a beautiful property, and likely a nice place for a round of golf. If you’re here to eat the spicing is nice, but the preparation is quite clumsy. We ordered 3 different dishes that all looked the same /: The shrimp and grits, was disguised as a soup w/ Garlic bread sticking out. After confusion about which dish it was, it was revealed that the shrimp & grits were hiding under the sauce. Funny enough, we had the same experience with the Cajun Seafood pasta. No surprise the waitress mixed up the dishes, as they looked almost identical before fishing out the details. If you like golfing, and fishing, you might love this place.

Very disappointed. Would not recommend. For starters the place was very unsanitary. From the eating areas to the bathroom. Cobwebs, dust and even dead flies. As for the food... That was even more upsetting. The menu online is not the same menu they give you once you're there. The shrimp and crab pasta was a joke. It came in soup form with 4 shrimp and no more than a teaspoon of lump crab meat. The best part of that very dish was the spinach. Even the bread was burnt. The second and only other dish to fail miserably was a BLT. It was most definitely not served on the correct bread and even if it had been... It was also burnt. They were a little smart there because they did put the burnt side of the bread on the inside of the sandwich..however you could still taste the burnt. Wasn't even impressed with the staff. Will not be returning or suggesting anyone eat here.

The dinner here is a MUST!! Cant say enough about how sweet and great the waitress were!! My waitress made me the best chocolate martini ever. I suggest making a reservation or you might not get to eat. The Cajun Pasta and the Shrimp and Grits is delicious!!!!

My company had an anniversary lunch here. I ordered the Smokey Mountain Burger cooked medium. It was covered with a thin slice of ham , two crispy pieces of bacon and BBQ sauce between a brioche bun. I also had a side of mac and cheese with bacon bits. Very Delicious !!! Would recommend to anyone . Staff was very friendly . Very nice place to eat. I plan on bringing my family back soon.

A last minute lunch decision after visiting the Safari Wildlife Park and a good one indeed! Great loaded cheese fries and excellent burgers. Personal staff and a great experience overall. We will be back!
