This Walgreens is the worse in the city of New Orleans! It’s two blocks from my hover but I will drive to another Walgreens because I can’t deal with the attitude of the employees including the pharmacist. She is rude and open and closes the pharmacy whenever she feels like it. She does not care about the customers and their well-being !!! She has a non welcoming attitude and makes you wait unnecessarily amount of time to get your prescriptions.. She is one of the reasons I can’t stand this Walgreens. My neighbors avoid this Walgreens as well. The sad part is this is my neighborhood Walgreens . This is where I live but I have to go elsewhere to get professional assistance and not deal with attitude. The employees are not much better. If you ask for anything behind a locking key you will get attitude and they will go out of their way to alert your bothering them . I’ve addressed this with the store manager but he takes up for the employees. Hebdieee not listen to the customer.. if you want your meds filled I suggest go elsewhere you will regret using this pharmacy or store.

Only reason I’m giving more than 1 star is because other than the pharmacy… this location is ok. But the pharmacy has messed up my meds so many times. Once they even gave me a wrong prescription (my anxiety meds instead of my sleep meds) and claimed they gave me a different one. I need my sleep medication to SLEEP. They did not believe me since their system claimed I picked up my sleep medication. Had to make an appointment with my doctor just to get them leading to a week of barely any sleep. I switched pharmacies after this and somehow this Walgreens is STILL filling my prescriptions and messing up my meds for the other pharmacy. Do yourself a favor and don’t get your meds here. Nothing but a headache

PHARMACY always has a long line, even if you are just picking up. Service is awful. VERY UNDERSTAFFED. The rest of the store is olay

This place is a complete disaster. It's been over a week and their phone and computer system is been down so they are unable to do basically anything in the pharmacy department. Complete failure to provide an essential service to their community

I needed to get a Covid-19 test in preparation for a medical procedure. There were no available walk-in testing facilities withing five miles of my location in New Orleans, so I had to opt to go through a drive through. Unfortunately, I don't own a car; only a bicycle. When I arrived on my bike, the lady stated Walgreen's policy states that I could only be tested if I were in a car. In a city where about 1/3 of the population depends solely on their bicycle as transportation, I felt this was not only completely illogical and unfair, I also felt marginalized that persons like myself, who are very low on the income scale, would be refused. Does being in a car have any impact on testing? I think not, being I have been tested for Covid-19 outdoors before. When the lady refused to give me a reason other than "It's policy", I laid my bike down and refused to move. Instead of testing me or reasoning with me, they called the police. I waited til the police officer arrived. He was very even-keeled, kind, and tried to be helpful, so I left without incident. Nonetheless, it was a ridiculous and infuriating experience. Needless to say, I won't be patronizing Walgreen's any longer... and neither should you, if the concept of "equality", "fairness", and a person's well-being and health-over-profit concerns you.

My sister came out of surgery and was in extreme pain and was prescribed opioids for the pain. We went to the pharmacy the first time, they said they needed 4 hours. We asked them to expedite so they said oh we can make it in one hour. Two hours after we go, giving them additional time but my sister was in real pain. The prescription was not ready. The staff member dealing with us was extremely rude and insensitive taking no responsibility for her delay and saying that she tried calling us which is a blatant lie as we saw no missed calls or any voice messages left. Really bad experience with a lot at stake.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY. I just waited an entire HOUR to pick up my medications even though I was only the 3rd person in line at the drive-thru when I first pulled up. Initially, I thought the long wait time may have been because there was a long line of people inside (although, also unlikely because of Covid-19), but when I finally approached the window, there was only 1 customer inside but 3 employees + the pharmacist. However, only 1 employee actually appeared to be "helping" people...but barely. Once she finished helping the 1 customer inside, I had to press the call button twice for assistance. Even though she responded each time by saying "i'll be right with you"..neither her or any of the other 2 employees or the pharmacist came to the window. Despite no customers inside, I continued to wait for 25 minutes. At this point, the line of cars behind me was also so long that it extended well out onto Carrollton Ave. It was not until I pressed the call button a 3rd time that the pharmacist decided to finally help me. When I told the pharmacist that I had been waiting an hour but was only the 3rd car in line when I first pulled up, she seriously tried to blame the wait on the fact that they were understaffed! When I pointed out that I had been waiting at the window for 25 minutes and could observe that there were no customers in the store but 4 employees working, she had nothing to say. When I asked her if she realized that there was also a line of cars so long behind me that it was causing a traffic jam on Carrollton Ave she just said "Whatt!!! No way, are there really?" This is not the first time I have had issues with this pharmacy, but it will certainly be the last, as I will never go there again. I should have learned my lesson after the first dilemma, or even the second, but it's just so close to my house that I kept going back out of convenience. Although this was the first time I waited an entire hour just to pick up a prescription in the drive-thru line, it was not my first experience with long wait times. One time when I went to drop off a prescription to be filled, I decided to wait for it because they said it would only take 20 minutes. However, 2 customers that came after me, and also decided to wait for their prescriptions, both left before me. After waiting for 40 minutes and pointing out that other customers had already received their prescriptions even though I had been waiting longer, they realized they forgot about mine and it had just been sitting on the counter. On another occasion, they accidentally somehow merged my sister's account with mine and billed my health insurance company for her prescription. Because I also have a prescription for the same medication, my insurance company wouldn't cover my prescription, and I had to wait an entire month to get it filled. And even though my sister and I also spent 30-45 minutes at the pharmacy getting them to fix their mistake, and they said it had been resolved, when I went back a month later to finally get my prescription filled, they still had all of our information mixed up! If you are looking for a reliable and competent pharmacy that cares about their customers, DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY.

Masks are supposed to be mandatory yet almost NOBODY, including the staff, were wearing them and absolutely nobody was requesting that customers wear them. As a shareholder of Walgreens I am APPALLED that a business that is supposed to cater to peoples’ health cares so little about it. I will not shop at this Walgreens again. I would give them zero stars if that was an option. Disgusted and extremely disappointed.

This is the only Walgreens I have been to where next customer in line means whoever is faster to the register, and even the manager is ok with it. Sat in line 10+ minutes only to have people just got into lane to run in front of me to a newly opened register. Never using this location again. Spent at least 15 minutes in line. Would have spent less time at a Walmart, and that is pretty sad.

Very rude! Asked a simple question and the employee said no with an attitude and walked away to the back room. There was a lady sitting behind the photo register. I tried to asked her a question and she said I dont work here. As you enter there are nasty people coughing all over you. Avoid this location!!
