Anyone who lives near this place knows it well. Best poboys for 40 miles in all directions hands down. A lot of restaurants have come and gone in this parish but Grumpy's has been around quietly making awesome food for decades. Plus they have awesome milkshakes

Just had burgers from here today! They were delicious! Seems like our local fast food restaurants have fallen below subpar in customer Service as well as food quality. Next time you think to go elsewhere, DONT..stay safe and try a bite from Grumpys. Great service and food!

If I could give them zero Stars I would! This place is a hole-in-the-wall dump. Their parking lot is full of potholes. We drove 20 miles plus to get there, wanting somewhere new. They had their dine-in box checked on Google so we figure sure let's go there and sit down and have a nice meal hahaha. We pulled up in their parking lot and get parked and there's not one but two signs in the window saying that they are not doing dine-in, they're only doing carry out. I sure wish that Google would have told me that instead of telling me that they were open for dine-in seating. I will never ever go back to this place simply because of the amount of time and mileage that we drove to go there and the look of the building from the outside.

Had an order of roast beef po boy and onion rings. And it was freaking delicious. A good filling meal i could fininsh. But for all being home made, it was a great meal..

We waited at an hour for tomato sauce out of a can with 2 meatballs for $12.95. The meatballs might have been made to order, but it doesn’t take that long to cook meatballs. Why not cook them ahead of time, freeze them, then heat them up when ordered with the tomato sauce. We were expecting homemade spaghetti sauce from a family restaurant.

5 stars for service and food. 4 stars for the wait but definitely worth the time. Love everything I've tried so far; home-made food is always the best. Great Southern Hospitality!!

Food Really cooked to order! Meal was delicious. Shrimp poboy, onion rings, fried chicken sandwich. Worth the little extra wait. Very reasonably priced.

Good simple food. Burgers, Po Boys all kinds of appetizers. Be prepared to wait as food is made to order. They also serves ice cream and shakes, which are excellent.

This is a cute little neighborhood place with a 1950s rock 'n' roll vibe. The menu is pretty standard for the area - poboys, burgers, fish baskets etc.. Our waitress was smiley, friendly and efficient, but the cook needs to find a new career: It was a light, lunchtime crowd so there was absolutely no excuse to take a full hour to serve two manager's specials (breaded chicken in a bun, with fries). By the end of the hour, our waitress was cringing with embarrassment. The food was ok, but not worth waiting an hour to eat. We won't be back.

My girlfriend loves this place. It's a hole in the wall. The inside is like if you took all the 50s dinner stuff you could find and threw it at a wall..in a bad way. The food was ok. Mushroom appetizer tasted frozen. Sausage was more greasy than I cared for.
