I went there as I was wanting sushi only to discover even though Sushi is in the name of the Restaraunt it is not a food they serve. I said no worries. Bring me a NY Strip steak. So, after twenty minutes of waiting they bought me a salad and soup which was decent. They started their presentation with rice and vegetables and then cut the steak up into small chunks of incredibly tasteless meat. I ate about 5 bites and decided that was all I needed. The cook wanted me to catch a shrimp with my mouth and I declined. I wasted $40.00 and an hour of my time.

Very nice chain restaurant. You have a choice of sitting at a sushi bar, a regular table or a table with a built-in grill. At the regular table or the sushi bar, your dining process begins as soon as you are seated. But the true Sakura experience is sitting at the table with the built-in grill and having your meal prepared right in front of your party. Then the food prep is a performance experience. If you have a party of eight or ten, you can start the experience right away. If you have a smaller party, they may want you to wait until there are enough patrons to fill all or most of the seats. After your orders are taken and the drinks, soup and salad courses are served, your chef will come to your table and start preparing the entrée. He will start by grilling some eggs, adding rice and some oils and spices to make the fried rice. Then he'll put some vegetables and meats on the grill and start preparing everything that has been ordered at the table. There will be some flames as part of the prep, and there's a volcano made from an onion. At the end of the food prep show, the grill is cleaned. It's an interesting process. I have included lots of pictures. I probably should have just taken a video, but the customer is eating during the food prep performance. I was eating during the food prep performance. I had onion soup, a mild, tasty broth with a few chopped scallions. The salad and the rest of the meal was tasty, but not excellent. Still, the whole dining experience was pleasant and worth the price. This is a good place to bring children. The children at our table, and the kids at the tables near us, seemed to be enjoying the show put on by the chefs at each table.

I had a wonderful time, the food was absolutely perfectly cooked, delicious and the experience of seeing it cooked with flair right in front of us was so much fun! Our cook said he'd been doing it for about 16 years, and was quite fun to watch, flipping eggs around without breaking them, making an onion volcano and other fun stuff. My favorite, at the end of the meal "test" time during which he flipped little bits of shrimp to the willing guests to catch in their mouths (Got mine on the second try). I had filet and scallops, with a side of shrimp, and the meal came with a lovely salad, soup and fresh made fried rice too. Great meal and alot of fun! Features: Masked cook, table thoroughly cleaned, separated by an empty seat and other guests on another side of the table

My rating is a bit optimistic and instead I would give this place a '3.75'. I thought the main entree was solid but the soup and salad were lackluster. Soup had little to no flavor and I wasn't given a choice on the salad dressing (dressing tasted water down?). I don't expect a meal from a Japanese steakhouse to be cheap but I do expect more if I'm paying roughly $30 for a meal.

I was initially terrified at the possibility of sitting so close to where my food was being made and having to socialize with the chef and others at my table. But I didn't have to worry. Except for the fact that it was a little hot. The chef was amazing, the food was delicious and the distance between us and the others at the table was confortable enough to allow for pleasantries while still maintaining confort zones. I'm looking forward to trying this experience again.

It's been about 20 years since I've been to a hibachi restaurant and this was so much fun. The wait for our chef was a bit long but worth it. The amount of food you get is massive and tasty. The chef was fun and interactive with everyone at the table. I had the ribeye and shrimp and my wife had the fillet and chicken. Both were excellent. Highly recommend this place. We didn't order sushi but saw it and it looked amazing.

Came here for our kids birthday, great place for large groups. Our Hibachi Chef was awesome & a bit kookie. Really knew how to entertain a party. Our food was super good and they have a full bar which always is a plus!

Food was delicious!! The host was extremely nice. We had a 7:00 reservation on Valentine’s Day, we were seated and ordering right at 7! All the chefs are very nice, definitely a family-friendly environment too. The surrounding area is nice too!
