TLDR: I'd rather go blind... I go here once a year and each time I leave I swear I'm never going back. This most recent time resulted in a 2 hour visit due to understaffing and the new, pandemic based, exam procedures. The list of issues I have with this place is longer than a CVS receipt.

Giving a 1 star because I had an extremely awkward and uncomfortable moment with the tech earlier today My appointment was at 11:40 and it was getting close to 1pm, once I was taken to the room for my eye exam by the tech I politely asked if she thinks my appointment would be done by 1:30 because I had an appointment with my barber at 2pm She said yes and “I know how y’all’s are about your hair”. I just said, “Um yeah” and left it alone because I was irritated at that point. I do not need to explain how that is inappropriate The tech could clearly feel the tension because she left and got someone else to sit in the room with me during the eye exam. When the other person came in I heard them ask the tech what was wrong so she clearly knew what she said was inappropriate BUT since I am the black guy/customer I looked like I was just being rude and making the tech uncomfortable when it clearly was not the case

First time coming to this location this evening and the person who helped me get glasses for my 5yo son was wonderful. (I am trying to remember the name on his name tag, I believe it was Lamont? But I might be totally wrong.)I recently moved to the area and used to go to the one in Arundel Mills. It was towards the end of the evening/closing time and he took his time to help us. He really went above and beyond to make it as quick and easy for us as possible. He was also helping out the other staff member at the same time. He was patient with my son. Very happy with my experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Awesome Experience. My wife and I scheduled an appointment on a Saturday and it was the best eye experience I have had in 30 years. The level of technology is truly impressive, multiple automated test and a fast and precise eye exam. I had no issue with the remote technician or remote Dr, they had the results from the test quickly and reviewed it with us thoroughly. We do not have eye insurance and paid less at Vision works than previous places when we had insurance. They were short handed, but the 2 folks working there were fast and efficient while trying to handle the load. We will be going back every year

I was offered a time frame over an hour from my original time. Of course, I could come in , but if the other person got there, I would have to take the later time. First of all, I am very difficult to please. Secondly, I almost NEVER post reviews online. That said, I was so impressed by the service I received at Visionworks today that I OWE them this review. I lost the earpiece screw in my glasses and stopped in this shop to see if they could replace it. I was anticipating the need to leave my glasses, but the staff member took them right away, replaced the screw, tightened the other earpiece, cleaned my glasses and returned them to me with a case. When I asked her what I owed her she said, "Nothing!" Please keep in mind I was not a former client; had never been in there before. I will definitely be going there when I next need to order glasses. I really appreciated the service.

Went here for son’s eye-exam and his new glasses. Remote eye exam was such a new experience for us. Throughout the process, Lamont helped us. He was knowledgeable and kind—explaining each step and finding the best deal for us. I would definitely recommend this store—especially Lamont to my family and friends.
