The appointment system is bad. Imagine you make an appointment then it's already a pain to drive & park there, to come in and hear them saying: "The doctor is not available, sorry, we can only do virtually today." Why not giving us a call? We missed our plan/work on that day to have this ********. Be aware if you have eye exam here.

Arrived for an 11 am appointment at 10:50. Was checked in and assistant ran the initial screening tests. Then I sat until 11:30, at which point I left. Places really shouldn't schedule folks if they don't have the resources to meet those appointments on time.

Dr. Yostph was great!! She spent additional time with me and concluded that my previous contact lense diameter was too small. Her persistence and expertise was key in making my contacts fit comfortably and properly. She provided the best eye care I have experienced in 25 years. You’ll be smart if you ask for her personally. All of the Visionworks staff at Fenton Rd Silver Springs, MD are extremely professional and super courteous.

almost two months after I cancelled my order I am still waiting for my money and insurance to be refunded. The customer service line is useless - it is completely automated and does not have an option for asking about refunds. Don’t go to this place. They’ll take your money and never deliver the product or give you a refund. Do not go to this store for glasses. They charge inflated prices (3x more than what I paid for a similar pair elsewhere), don’t deliver on time, and their automated phone system is a nightmare. I was hung up on three times before I was finally able to get someone to tell me they scratched my new glasses and it was going to take another week to get them finished - making it three weeks from the date of tthe order. When I said to cancel the order, I was told it would take up to a week for my money to be refunded and a month for the insurance money to be returned.

Their service is pathetic and infuriating! I placed an order for contact lenses and no one ever got back to me for 4 weeks. Their automated call system is so terrible that it took 5 calls for it to get my name. When it could not understand my name, it connected me to an actual person (almost 2 days of this). The staff (on phone) wasn't much help either. After listening to my problem, they made me hold for several minutes instead of answering my query. I never received an answer or a call back! I am now trying to write them an email! Such apathy and disregard of customers. Reply to the Owner's response: You responded to my review immediately because you are focused on your public perception and image. But it has been more than 2 days since I emailed your customer care and I still haven't received a reply. My calls continue to be unanswered!

As a veteran I can say that this place is worse than the VA. They do not have contact lenses in my power and have to order my trials. The first time they were wrong, and after waiting a month for them, they reordered them, telling me they would contact me when they arrived, it has been 3 weeks. When I call to check the status I am on hold for a minimum of 45 minutes before the call is dropped. DO NOT GO HERE!

I had a long day and came in to order a replacement pair of glasses. Just want to say that, Abena has great energy, went the extra step and gave some useful recommendations. It was a much needed reprieve and I’m grateful to have worked with her today!

Terrible service service/ No actual optometrist here. I came in for a 10:20 appointment. At 11am I had not been seen yet so I asked if there was a problem. It was at that time that the receptionist informed me that they don’t actually have an optometrist and a telehealth doctor would be helping me. I asked how much longer and she told me another customer was having a hard time and it would likely be ANOtHER 30 mins.

I came here yesterday and let me tell you, the staff here are amazing!!! Abeena and Jacqueline were so nice to me and had lots of patience. I hate going to the eye doctor, but they made me feel so comfortable. So thank you once again to these 2 beautiful and awesome ladies 💕!

I believe the optometrist changes every year. The last 3 years were good (although different drs each time I go) but this year isn't. The doctor was in rush and didn't spend enough time checking my eyes considering my existing health conditions. So far, it was the quickest eye exam in history. Ironically, my husband was seen by the same doctor and told me the same thing.
