Patrick at Kings Contrivance Jewelers is exactly why you should shop at small businesses. I had a couple of rings fixed and was pleased with the work. But when it came to buying a diamond necklace I still looked at major retailers. On a whim I asked Patrick about it and I am so glad I did! I got much better value, but the way he walked me through the whole process - choosing a diamond and creating a necklace I love is an experience you cannot get elsewhere. I am confident I got great value on a piece of jewelry I absolutely adore.

I took numerous rings and necklaces to Patrick for sizing and repair. Patrick is extremely knowledgeable, talented and very honest. I wouldn't take my jewelry to anyone else. My husband and I have also purchased earrings and a necklace from his in-store inventory; everything is high quality.

If you have big knuckles, Patrick will come to the rescue! I got my fixed ring back the same day I brought it in! :D I recently got engaged, and the ring was a size 6. This size was a bit too big, but at the same time... a ring size 5 barely go pass my knuckle and then its too loose past that point! Today I went to see Patrick, he sized my finger and made the suggestion that I should add an inside raised surface (like a built in ring stopper) to the band. I was immediately on board as this would solve the issue of the extra space with the size 5 PLUS Patrick said that the addition of the two little bumps prevents the main stone from dancing around your finger so much. Here you can see before and after pics, I can't tell where Patrick did the cut to make the ring smaller! such a great job! He has a lot of experience, I believe +30 years! Also, I brought the ring in at 10am today, and he called me to tell me it was done at 3:45pm today!!! Amazing! Thanks again Patrick! :)

Walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner. All I needed was a couple links taken out of my watch band. He did it carefully and quickly and the price was more than fair. I’m going back today to have the same service done to my new watch!!
