I went to Aretha's hair salon today,and people let me tell you. The service that she provides oh my goodness, she's truly amaaaaazing.,she is truly a God sent,she does an amazing job during your hair,and not only that she uplift your spirits. I have alopecia and she did not make me feel like an outcast like some salons have done in the past,and that's why I haven't been to a salon in years. So I'm so so please that getting back into going to a hair salon,it was with Ms. Aretha, Lord willing all of my summer styles I will be going to her,even though she's a good 50 minutes from me, it's worth it,I got a pixie blonde weave in my hair,and I'm in love with myself all over again..and she makes you feel so welcome,and her salon in so cozy and welcoming,and some of her family and friends dropped by, and they just made me and my daughter feel like family,real down to earth people,which is hard to find this days..While she's doing your hair,it just feels like you're at a spa,they only have 5 stars up there,but this place and Ms. Aretha is definitely a ten all across the board. I have been going to Aretha’s for a few years now, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Aretha is very reliable and her work is phenomenal. I never worry about whether the end result will look good or last for as long as it should because she always takes her time and produces quality hair styles! I was so fortunate to have Aretha style my hair on the morning of my wedding, and I could not have been happier!! She opened her shop early that day in order to work with my schedule, and my hair style lasted from early morning through the next morning, through hours of festivities and even a little rain.

My time here over the past couple of years have been amazing! Ms. Aretha and her beautiful crew are always nice, understanding, and considerate when it comes to finding the perfect hairstyle for you. Aretha is awesome. I come from the eastern shore of Maryland to get my hair done. She worth the drive. The best sew in I’ve ever had. Plus you can buy the hair right there. It has a guarantee and everything. You can book online and she has great hours. She has a clean and comfortable salon. It’s well run and the staff is very nice. I highly recommend Arethas. She has done my hair 5 times now and I will keep coming back. Prices are definitely on par and fair for the amount of work.

When I first met her and inquired about her services, she noticed that something was not right with my hair and she took care of it. She saved my hair from breaking off.

I have been going to Ms. Aretha hair shop for about 3 years now and when she does my hair she does it very well I love it. She always know what I want without me even telling her what I want if I dont have my own idea for my hair. She does anybody women or men kids or teenagers she will do it Ms. Aretha and her staff is great stylists/Prfoessionals and I recommend you come from wherever you live at to (Carney, MD) to get your hair down it will be worth it she can do any style you give her rather if its braids or weaves or extensions or sew ins or whatever So basically come on through and let them give you the most nicest and gorgeous hair you ever had you wont be disappointed at all and her PRICES are reasonable as well I give her a (10 out of 10) and 10 is the highest out of a grading scale of (1 out of 10) thank you 😎😀😁😍😉😊😎😃😄

I went to her about a year and a half ago. I don't like writing bad reviews, however based on the severity of the hair loss I had I felt I needed to warn people. They braid too tight, including Ms. Aretha. My weave looked nice, but when I took the braids out two months later , I had bald spots in the back of my head!!! It has taken me months for this hair to grow back!! There are some areas in the back that may never recover!!
