We added a wonderful puppy from Petland to our family. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. They helped the transition home go smoothly. The pets waiting for homes were well cared for. We are very pleased with our experience.

Got my dog Apollo from here about two months ago came with hole set up so understand that they can be pricey these are pure bred dogs and come from reliable breeders in 2020 I was attack by a German shepherd I swing by to look and leave with a dog they are very convince staff and honestly that’s ok I love my dog he keeps me company and he’s healthy I 10/10 recommended getting a dog from here. ( German shepherd ) 100 percent. They very smart and was easy to train my dog in a week he was potty trained

They don’t take good care of animals. I’ve went here for years and have seen a lot. From the lack their lack of care for the animals, to the shear price of these animals. This is a store, that cares about sales and profit. This company also has been sued in the past for their business practices. Since their animals come from mills, you’ll get way cheaper and healthier animals when you go to breeders plus breeders usually give you more info than you’ll ever need as well. Save your money and go someplace that cares for the animal you want.

The staff did very well at helping us find our new pup. Their process for getting their breeders seemed very thorough and they were full of information, not sales pitches. The "package" that comes with a new pup is very thorough with vet services, a whole lot with food and crate and supplies, and a personal "shopper" to make sure we scoured every isle getting as much as we could possibly want into our cart. 🤣🤷♂️👍 Again... Not salesy! April did a great job, and this smile says everything else that needs to be said.

Staff was extremely helpful.but seriously wth is going on here?!? Open pet bins where the adoptable animals can be easily grabbed and handled by anyone who so chooses? First off, this seems like a really risky move for the company to make considering a customer could easily mishandle a critter and possibly get injured...or worse, they aren't aware of how the animal should be handled and the animal gets injured! The open pens were also way crammed with animals, tidy enough but still... why even do that? I understand why I have only seen one of these franchises out in the far far county. Almost as good as walking into a climate controlled petting zoo.

I went in to get a hamster and when I was getting it they told me a bag of food and wet tail drops were mandatory to buy with the hamster. Which I understand. But I had already been to PetSmart right before this and got all those supplies there so I already had a bag food. He didn’t ask me anything about the hamsters care. In my opinion I feel as if the staff should educate their customers on what animal they are buying. So their animals could be sold to anyone basically without knowing their proper care. I also noticed that they were selling an African gray. I myself have an umbrella cockatoo and a cockatiel. Out of curiosity I asked the price of the African gray and they said 8500. I was shocked. I can go to my local bird shop and by the same parrot as a baby rather than seven months old for less than half the price. I was told it comes with a lot of food and a lot of toys not a cage. I just feel bad because many customers don’t go to these pet shops like Petland looking for an exotic parrot. Not many people go in there wanting to spend that much money rather than on dogs. I felt like it was a rip off and feel as if that bird will be there for a very long time and possibly sold without proper care instructions. Although the store does have a lot to choose from. I was not psyched About the way they sold animals or their prices.

Went to purchase a rabbit today, but another customer saw me looking at it while I was respectfully awaiting a chance to grab an associate. She was already being helped, but she took one look at me and made a beeline to the rabbit I was eyeing and grabbed it out of the enclosure. If I had known I could just grab a rabbit right out of the enclosure, I would have. This customer stared at me while she petted the rabbit I had intended to inquire about. Wasted 45 minutes driving here with no AC in 108° weather just to have a raggedy woman spite me out of a rabbit. Never coming here again. Maybe inform your customers to respect the autonomy of animals. I've been raising rabbits for over a decade. that's not how you do it.

this place makes me feel so sad and disgusting. first of all one of the ferrets bit my sister for no reason and wouldn’t let go. then i saw a fish that looked very injured, couldn’t even swim. then the puppies…. it breaks my heart. they look so sad. they’re definitely from puppy mills. please don’t buy animals from here. employees were rude also. but the sick puppies stuck in the tiny cages… and the outrageous prices. this place is horrible.

We went in to look at puppies as we are thinking about expanding our family. We looked around and found one we wanted more information on. We asked for the pricing and the person helping us stated they cannot give you the price unless you get the puppy out to play with first. I guess they only know the price once the puppy leaves the kennel, but they are unaware of pricing while the puppy isn't in your hands. Very weird. It's a bad sales tatic. We have purchased from Petland before, but I guess they didn't care and are unwilling to help. We won't be back...ever. We DO NOT recommend Petland.

Got my puppers from here as a gift 💙 I love him. Very transparent abt return and sick policies and has lots of information for take home care . Puppies are very expensive but worth it and come with a lot of stuff (cage , food , etc) I’ve had King here for almost a year now !
