Went there to get my BP and heart rate taken and the person at the clinic hub told me to go to Walmart. If I could give a negative rating for CUSTOMER SERVICE they would be getting one. Never returning to this CVS.

Considering "pharmacy" is part of the name, you'd think they'd be better at their job. Numerous times I've gone in to pick up a prescription, giving them at least a couple days to fill it and it's either not filled or, most likely, they "never received it." These prescriptions come from several different sources and some, like an antibiotic, need to be started immediately. The last straw was when I went in the other day and the lady not only stated they didn't have it, but was extremely rude about it as well. I'm done. BTW, this only happens at the New Market CVS. I've had great service and accountability at other branches.

This CVS is a nicely stocked store. It's large, clean and has anything you could ask for in a pharmacy, plus more. The problem I find is the RX part ,the actual process of getting scripts filled, customer service, time management. I stopped using this store years ago to fill my medications. I do still think it's a great store to pick up all your non- prescription needs .

Recurring (years worth) of Rx issues. 1. Regularly get texts stating mom's prescription was ready yet after getting to the store we're told that "they are working on it right now". This time around not only did the above happen, I was told that I'd need to wait 45 minutes for them to finish the Rx. Not about to suffer yet another one of their mistakes I went home rather than waiting. Later that evening my mother received another text stating that she will be texted when her Rx is ready. So much for 45 minutes. I feel that telling people that their Rx is being worked on "now" is standard CYA verbiage and is almost always untrue. They only start working on it after you're at the store and tell them you were notified that it was already ready for pickup. 2. The other example is that my cheapo insurance company (Aetna) no longer pays for the brand name of my medication (two of my doctors expressed a preference for the brand name as too many of the generic drug labs have poor quality control practices so the actual amount of the active medication ingredient varies from batch to batch....WOW). 4 times now (so 4 months in a row) CVS staff have purposefully decided to ignore the comment in my profile and filled the old generic Rx. So 4 times I have had to tell them to remove the generic drug from my profile and only keep the brand name one, and that I will continue to pay out of pocket. What right do they have to arbitrarily decide to change my Rx from brand name to generic??? That alone should be a termination worthy offense. 3. There is seriously ZERO oversight being applied to this department's processes or procedures and it's been going on for years. We have tried the local Walmart pharmacy (they have their own issues) and other CVS locations with no improvement. Next step is to talk to the store manager, with screenshots of the bogus texts messages we've received, and see what good that might do. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE.

I have been trying to get my prescription filled with them for 2 weeks now and they have been unwilling to help. I’ve called daily for 2 weeks and have been sent in circles “we need a doctors approval” “your insurance won’t approve this” mind you, both my doctor and insurance have told me that it’s been approved. I would not recommend this location AT ALL. They are incompetent and unprofessional.

Aaron has the worst customer service and caused me to lose $29.42 in the coupons used because he didn't know what he was doing. He had to return/void my transaction. I asked will all my coupons be reactivated. He responded absolutely. He rerung my order and the bill went from $36 to$65. I asked what could he do to fix the situation. He response was well there isn't anything I can do, you could call customer service. I asked could you call them since it was your error, not mine. He stayed nope I don't have time for that. Hmmmm. After an hour plus on the phone with customer service and getting disconnected 3 times, I still couldn't get it resolved. Let's review the situation: your employee doesn't know his job and it is now problem. He was so disrespectful and rude but he made the error. After hanging up with customer service, I called the store and ask when the manager would be there so I could discuss this situation. I was put on hold and then told they didn't know when the manager would be in. I have been a cvs customer in PA and Maryland. I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy and canceling my care pass. Cvs should be embarrassed That they are unwilling to fix an error made by their associate. We are not talking about a $2 coupon but $29. I am responsible for the voice of the customer program at my organization so I am even more shocked at the horrible experience after trying to explaining the situation multiple times. Even with customer service, I was told they were going to make it right but still didn't. I was told to call back tomorrow. I lost 2 plus hours of my life tonight on this ridiculousness. I rarely do reviews except for excellent service but I am so frustrated and disappointed. I want to tell everyone about my experience. Thank goodness I do sales and customer service training. I have a new example of awful customer service.

This place is awful. Every time I get a text saying my prescription is ready it never is. I try to call first to verify it is ready and nobody answers. Tried to get my flu shot and they told me my insurance isn't valid, called the insurance and was told I was actively covered, and cvs had never even tried to put the vaccine through insurance. Nor had they tried to run my prescription through insurance, and expected me to pay over $400.

I’ve come to this location multiple times and it’s usually not a positive experience. Today I came for a vaccine, 15 minutes prior to my appt and waited for over an hour. There were two people ahead of me including the person already in the room. We were all there for the same thing. The person administering the shots said they don’t follow appointment times, it’s first come first serve. I’m not sure why appointments are recommended if they aren’t honored. I asked if I could get a flu shot while I was there and she said sure but I need to get to the end of the line (even though I’d already waited over an hour and was in the room with her). There were more than two people now behind me so I can only imagine it would be at much longer than I’d already waited. Had I know appointments weren’t relevant, I’d have gone to another cvs or pharmacy all together. While waiting for a shot, I also witnessed pharmacy staff hanging up on a customer and disparaging other employees on the phone to other customers, saying “that girl is new, she doesn’t really know anything”. One of the customers that had been hung up on actually came to the store because he had been trying to get his medication and was treated rudely by the same staff member, still couldn’t get info on the status of his medication.

I came here for my 3rd Covid vaccine which turned into a nightmare. The employees in the pharmacy area have zero organization, a lack of professionalism, and seemingly no protocol in place for vaccinating people based on their appointment times. I waited for nearly an hour an only received a vaccine after speaking with two separate employees on two different occasions. The second employee I spoke with was extremely rude to me when I was just trying to figure out why people who arrived after me with the same appointment time were being vaccinated BEFORE me. Because of this interaction they were finally ready to vaccinate me after what felt like being skipped and ignored. The woman who administered my vaccine did not ask any screening questions and seemed like she got thrown into the vaccinator role with minimal training. They also did not provide me with any privacy whatsoever while getting vaccinated, it was literally just in the corner of the pharmacy for all the other 10+ people to see. Unbelievably unprofessional and truly uncomfortable. After waiting nearly an hour to even get vaccinated, I was informed I was apparently "required" to stay for another 15 minutes to monitor for reaction, which I expressed I wished to opt out of. They literally tried to *force* me to stay by holding my vaccine card hostage until "the pharmacist fills it out." Which was 100% an untrue statement -- when I went to speak to the pharmacist about getting that done quickly so I could leave, another employee approached me so I explained to her the situation. She then went back over to the woman who vaccinated me, who was not the pharmacist, and she was filling out the card RIGHT THERE where I was just sitting. This other kind employee retrieved my now completed vaccine record card so that I could leave. I also want to mention, they wanted me to wait for 15 minutes in a *very* crowded store area with no possibility for social distancing, where some people weren't even wearing masks. Why do y'all think I'm getting a booster lol??? I don't want to be around strangers and possibly be exposed. You would expect a pharmacy to understand that, but I suppose the employees are all new or under-trained so they can't understand that concept. I feel bad for the other people who were also there waiting patiently to get vaccinated with zero updates or direction from the pharmacy staff. If I didn't speak up I truly think I would have been there for 2+ hours or more. The pharmacy employees at this CVS should take a field trip to check out a veterinary vaccine clinic and take some notes -- we actually get stuff done efficiently there :)

Over and over again I call CVS to confirm my prescription is ready. And then drive up, wait 15 minutes behind a line of cars to find out it is not ready and I have to wait another 20 to 30 minutes. I always call ahead to be sure and I don't understand why they tell you it's ready and it's not. My husband's medication once was not ready when they said it was and they told us it would take days to get in - he needed it that evening and we were stuck in a panic calling every pharmacy in the county. Wegmans came through for us and we were able to get his medication. This is the only CVS near our home and it's the only reason we continue going here.
