Polite attentive staff. Lots of selection for all ages and taste bud for seafood.Crabcakes are great. In house shrimp salad awsome. Vegetarian options: Limited. To a few items seaweed salad, coleslaw, blackbean salad, desserts, and chips for the most part. Sorry seafood store. Not organic store.

I've never met a more friendly group of people! The food, besides being the best I've tasted in quite awhile, has low competitive prices, and the selections are vast! The only mistake I made... I didn't take any pictures! Next visit, I will take photos of the food and the beautiful people there! I'm not kidding you, my wife was asking questions, and the matriarch of The Lighthouse gave her a freshly printed copy of the Menu! I guess you can tell, this Louisiana native loves The Lighthouse and their seafood! Go and be happy!

Ordered a bunch of stuff from the deli. It was all great. Including the shrimp. But the main purchase was crabs. I got 2 and half dozen of the #1's and they were full of meat and very good. Best thing about this place is the owner and his focus on making sure he is providing a quality product and quality service. He's very "hands on" and is the reason his people do a great job, they follow his example. Can't miss place in Frederick County.

I am giving a five star rating because these are the best french fries I've ever had. No lie. The fish is terrific, pickled beets eggs are primo but the fries are effing fly.

Once you’ve tried Lighthouse Seafood, you will question going to any one establishment for your seafood needs. Lighthouse Seafood offers almost any seafood need you might have. More interestingly, they have a Deli within their Historic New Market location. At their Deli, almost ALL of their food comes from their own family recipes. The Trouts know how to cook. Try their Fried Shrimp or any of their shrimp steamed and seasoned for you on the spot. They Greek Pasta Salad is the PERFECT salad to go with your lunch or dinner. Ever question if you like kale? Try their steamed kale with bacon. Amazing. Highly highly recommend.

I was super surprised to find seaweed salad here and I have to tell you that it might be the best I've ever had! Even better than when I've had it in restaurants or bought from the Asian stores! Super fresh and perfectly seasoned, wow! Please don't stop carrying it!

The fried rice with vegetable had a very odd taste you cooked it in margarine maybe that's the local Style had their chicken wrapped banana leaves that was delicious
