This beautiful store has everything. I am a beginner painter, and the sales staff was very very helpful. Fine paint brushes come in a bazillion shapes and sizes and apparently there is no standardized system for choosing them, but Plaza has a decent display arrangement that is helpful to a neophyte like me. In this area, the people there were particularly instructive. The same is true for the myriad of paints and paint types that are available. I was able to find just what was needed for my upcoming classes. In summary, it was a very pleasant and affordable shopping adventure.

I used to love this art store and hope to go back but the fact that they still enforce a muzzle policy is quite disturbing. i noticed most of towson was set in some sort of scientific stone age where common sense need not apply. a shame.

The staff has done a great job creating a safe environment that limits the number of customers and includes safety barriers at checkout. The store was well stocked and I found everything I needed for a project. They offered to help find items and there is curbside pick up too!

Always very kind and helpful, I can always count on the people at Plaza Artist Materials to help me out. They go out of their way to answer my questions and find the items I need when I call in advance or when I’m in the store. Truly very accommodating, I recommend them for all of your art supplies and framing needs. Yes, art supplies is extremely expensive, but that’s true no matter where you go. I’ve been buying my art supplies here for as long as I can remember and there’s a reason I keep coming back, even though it’s completely out of my way... when you expect the best, you have to go to the best. They have high quality materials and high quality staff. I’m always grateful for the excellent service I receive every time I walk in.

Plaza has a good range of materials for artists, and everything I've bought within the last year has worked great for me. The location is perfect if you're a student at Towson University, since it's walking distance from campus (maybe 15-20 minutes). There are always sales going on and there are plenty of coupons you can get if you're a student! The staff is always very nice and helpful, and they know the store well. Definitely my go-to store as an art major at TU.

Plaza Art is a recognized authority in quality art supplies, with a full range of quality in paints, pastels, paper, canvasses brushes, pens and pencils. They also offer a good selection of higher quality craft tools. Be sure to sign up for the mailing list so you get the coupons(which are awesome, like 50 percent off an unlimited number of any one item. My daughter got a set three different palette sets of PrismaColor brush pens, 72 in total, for $160 between the coupon and a sale, they're usually over $5 each) and the sale notifications.
