Excellent experience. Eric went above and beyond to help us source a saxophone in a pinch. We prefer to work with our small business neighbors and we now have a local professional musician for our music needs. Highly recommend Clemenzi Music as well as the annual student concerts they perform.

Amazing instruction!! My daughter has been taking lessons from Eric for a few years now and it was the very best decision I ever made! I purchased her first and second guitars from him as well. He's got a wonderful disposition and a great way of explaining his style and approach with students! I would recommend him to anyone!!

Our 7-year-old son James has been taking lessons with Eric for 2 years now. Eric is always very patient, relaxed, cheerful, and positive and James never fails to get a fun-filled lesson with him! James is always eager and excited to attend his weekly lessons. He has learned so much from Eric in the passed 2 years. Eric is without a doubt very highly recommended!

I have had the privilege of knowing Eric for the past six years, and would like to speak about the qualities that he brings to guitar teaching. Eric has shown an ability to teach students of all levels of competency. From young children to adults that have never picked up a guitar. He is aware of a variety of approaches and styles to teaching guitar. His patience makes the learning experience fun for students. His approach is to allow the student to learn a song that he or she is really passionate about. He believes the enthusiasm to learn something personal is essential in keeping up the motivation to push oneself. Twice a year, Christmas and spring, Eric puts together a student concert. He groups the students into bands, sometimes using actual vocalists and drummers to give the student the feel that they are truly in a rock band. The group setting is ideal for shy students who are apprehensive about performing alone on stage. Being a guitar teacher may be his livelihood, but he would teach for free if possible. His greatest mission is to see students learn and grow as musicians and most importantly as people. Eric is always there for his students outside of music, to lend support and encouragement to any facet of life. Lastly, although certainly perhaps the most important, he enjoys children and brings wonderful excitement to their music experience. He creates relevant lesson plans that tap into student interest. If you walk into one of his music lessons, you will see that students are making music! They are engaged! Eric’s dedication to teaching and his obvious love of music make him your ideal guitar teacher.

I've been taking lessons at Clemenzi Music since August of 2014. I've always had a blast learning from Eric! He is extremely passionate about music, and shows great interest in teaching and recording music with me. The cost per lesson is very reasonable, and definitely affordable. As well as offering lessons, a variety of guitars and other music equipment can be purchased from his studio in Georgetown. I have nothing but positive things to say about Eric and the quality of his lessons and music gear!

Great learning environment. As a working musician for the last 25 years, I could have taught my son personally but teaching your own children isn't always the best idea. That said, meeting Eric and realizing his passion alone for teaching sealed it for us. The fact that his skills are exemplary was almost secondary to us as he is an unbelievably proficient player.. Add in his workshops, his local ties to the school district and his charitable endeavors annually, and going with Eric was a no-brainer. Couldn't have made a better choice for our child to learn to play guitar than with Eric!

My family has been taking lessons with Eric for the past 15 years (started when he was still a student working out of his parents' basement). He had it easy with my three musically-gifted sons, and now he's taken on the real challenge -- teaching the old man! Eric has got me believing that I can not only play a little, but actually write and record songs. He knows how to motivate me, gets me to effectively use the skills I've accumulated, and pushes me to the next level. A fine teacher. A world-class musician. A dedicated family man. Get lessons with Eric. Buy your gear from him. Listen to his music.

Best "extra curricular" activity for both my 6 year old daughter AND for me. My daughter and I have had the pleasure of taking lessons with Eric for almost a year now. We really enjoy his approach to music - He has the skill to technically guide you through the next steps in your learning while also crafting his approach for your individual interests. Both my daughter and I started at different levels and have seen great improvement over the past year under Eric's guidance. I'm incredibly excited for what the next year will bring.

Eric is fantastic! Not only is a nice guy but an amazing teacher. His talents start from teaching the guitar to mixing original music you write! He teaches what you want unlike most conventional teachers, Any genere of music young or old. He has helped me write and produce my own music vocals and all! His new store is filled with awesome guitars and accessories and strives for the lowest prize for his customers. I recommend him to anyone looking for a rich new guitar or just to learn some new tunes as a student!

As a current guitar student at Berklee College of Music, I owe a great amount of my success and overall understanding of music to Eric Clemenzi. I started taking lessons with Eric about two years ago in search of a teacher who could help me get accepted to the school I just started studying at. When I first started lessons with him I couldn't sight read or improvise; I didn't even know any of the notes on the fret board let alone how to read chord charts. Now I consider myself a jazz guitarist and am playing things I couldn't have fathomed when I first met him. Eric is very well versed; his playing and tastes are tuned to many different genres. And above all else Eric is a great human being to be around; open minded, passionate and hard working which a pupil can't help but be inspired by.
