What a lovely, casual, dynamic experience to dine at the Post Office Pub in South Grafton Massachusetts. It is a truly converted post office. The decor has many old postage scales, leather postage bags, mailboxes Etc. The interior Lumber framing is authentic and beautiful to look at. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is out of this world. I had the salmon sandwich and the salmon was moist and grilled to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I went here with my mother and father. My mother ordered what you would think would be a very straightforward meal at a pub: a well done burger and fries. The burger served to her was red on the inside— not pink, RED. She informed a manager and was told she’d receive a brand new burger. After at least 20 minutes, our waitress checked in on us and asked if we’d gotten the replacement burger. We hadn’t, and she said she “didn’t know what was going on” and asked if we still wanted it. My mother agreed to take it to go, as my dad and I had just about finished our meals. Finally, it came out and we had to wait even longer for a take-out box. We were told it wouldn’t appear on the bill, but it did. I found the same manager and told her it was still on the bill. She tried to tell me I was reading the bill wrong and went to the table to tell my dad the same thing, but she was wrong. She finally admitted this and actually took it off. I really don’t want to go there ever again. The waitstaff seemed to be doing the best they could with what they had to work with, but what kind of cook at a burger joint can’t cook a well done burger?

Very nice atmosphere. Waitress was wonderful and the manager came to our table to discuss the food allergy a member of our party had. That was much appreciated. Prices were average and the food was excellent. Portions were sizeable. Thoroughly recommend this place.

I liked it! Nice beer selection, pleasant staff, clean, well lit, prices are reasonable and food is good. Looks like the kind of place you would want to be a regular :-) We were there for lunch, had a sausage grinder, one of the days specials, with a salad. Grinder was good and it was one of the few times, if ever, I received more salad dressing than I could use. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

A lovely experience. Great staff. I gave only 4 stars because I felt that the portions were a bit small, but don't take my word for it go see for yourself!

I came here with my mom on Easter and the dining area was pretty much full so we sat at the bar and ordered our meals. The food came fast even though they were busy and the bartender was great! We both ordered seafood and everything was delicious. The shrimp and haddock fish is always so fresh. Every time I come here everyone is very friendly. The moment you walk through their doors you're being welcomed in! If you haven't stopped by I suggest you do!

This is a fantastic place to have a meal. We have family that lives in the area and we stopped here from time to time. Everyone we have encountered that works at the Post Office Pub has giving fantastic service. On this last occasion Shannon the bartender took our order for my wife and I. She was very prompt in greeting us when we walk through the door even though she was very busy. Within a minute or two after giving us our menus, she came back to check on us and took our drink orders. After a few minutes she came back and took our food orders. Another member of the staff delivered are food orders, and Shannon was quick to observe that I had not received exactly what I ordered. She quickly took my order back and apologized. A short time later I received exactly what I ordered. All I can say is I will continue to visit the Post Office Pub when I'm in the area. It's not the cheapest place to eat or drink but the service and quality food is worth it.

Great food, friendly staff. Bring your appetite, the burgers are huge and cooked the way you want them. The chicken pot pie is a hidden gem, made on the premises, loads of chicken and veggies, and a delicious crust.
