I wish zero stars were allowed. I visited this god awful location earlier this afternoon. Soon After I came home I realized I might not have processed this via the right insurance and so I called them immediately (say within an hour since I left the place) and I spoke to two overly condescending people, telling me oh there is nothing we can do and it's already being processed. and I kept asking them to just put the order on hold if possible or even cancel so I can figure out the insurance and no help. nothing. Until they finally passed me to the third person, finally a manager who tell me she is going to try. now you tell me in this time and era, honestly there isn't anything one can do to put an order placed at lunch time on hold or cancel? SMH

I had such a great experience getting new glasses and prescription sunglasses here. Excellent styles and brand choices, and the staff were so kind. Meredith and Bia were so professional and caring, helping me each step of the way to find my perfect fit for both pairs. Will definitely be back when I want another new pair!

I can relate to "commercial" feeling that another reviewer posted. I visited MyEyeDr (previously I went to a local business that was bought by MyEyeDr) and today when I got to the end of my visit I was given 3 charges. I politely questioned each one, and it turns out my copay was actually 0, my contacts exam was about half the amount first charged, and the final charge was for an additional service that was also accidentally over-charged by $20. Good thing I knew my benefit amounts. They happily fixed the invoice on the spot. So, not a huge deal, but 3 out of 3 charges were accidentally over-charged. On the plus side, the staff were extremely friendly and the doctor was excellent. An online booking system makes the whole process easy, so I'll be going back there for sure. But it's this kind of thing that makes us, as patients, unfortunately need to stay aware. Update: over the past few days I’ve received an email and a couple automated texts reminding me to buy contact lenses through them. I’ve opted out but my feedback to places like this is usually ‘please, I never asked for texts, stop trying to squeeze money out of me’.

I was referred to this place by a friend to see Dr. Kolnik, who was fantastic. However, I have major gripes with how this business is run by MyEyeDr. They billed me for services I did not need. Despite me telling them that I regularly use contacts that have been fitted for me and I have no problems with them, they insisted that the doctor wouldn't give me a prescription for contacts unless he personally fits them in every single visit (which is not how any of the previous places I have been to operated). End of the day the doctor makes me try the same contacts I wear every day (but in the wrong power because they only come in 0.5 increments for fitting) and confirms that the contacts that I know fit me right indeed fit well and I was charged $103.50 for this service. This was followed by a high pressure sale where they kept on pushing me for all sorts of products and insurances despite me insisting that the only thing I wanted is one pair of glasses. Despite how good Dr. Kolnik was, the whole experience left me with a real sour taste and I cannot recommend this place to others.

My family went to Dr Kolnik for over 10 years for our eye exams and glasses. He is a great doctor and very personable. However the last year the practice was bought by “my eye doctor”. Since then it became commercialized, with many new and inexperienced staff, difficult to schedule visits, hurried interactions. I left the practice because they were giving me an appointment 6 weeks later and my insurance would then move on to the next year. That’s after I received regular messages to book an eye appointment. The scheduler was rude and did not want to engage. It’s very sad because I cannot say enough good things about Dr Kolnik.

Knowledgable and helpful staff who took the time to answer all my questions. Dr Caruso explained things better than any eye doctor I’ve visited in the last 12 years, and was extremely personable. Fran (I think that was her name) found me a lovely pair of frames from the very limited description I gave and made sure that I could get the lowest price possible. I will definitely be back! Also - in the COVID times, this was probably the cleanest place I’ve seen and I work in a hospital setting. Everything is constantly sanitized, they keep the number of people inside to a minimum, and they provide you with a fresh surgical mask upon entry. Very professional and I felt as safe as one can feel during a pandemic. Really can’t recommend enough!

I was a new patient to MyEyeDr. The service I received from both Dr. Caruso and the staff was fantastic. The Dr. explained everything about the latest technology that was used and the importance of staying on top of my eye health. The selection of frames that I was able to choose from was also great. Highly recommend
