Between Cinnamon (purebred chocolate lab) and now Toby (lab/boxer rescue), we have seen most of the vets at Hyannis Animal Hospital over the course of many years - our visits ranging from routine wellness exams to surgeries. They can be busy, but the quality of care is A+++. Dr. McCartin is the best!

I've taken all my animals here for 10 plus years. I had to change vets due to lack of availability in appointments. On several occasions, called for sick appointments for my dog ( yeast in ear and large lump on neck). Was told next available appointment was 8 weeks out and to call every day to see if something came up. It's very sad as I used to really love them. But ever since it changed. It's gone way downhill. I understand maybe waiting a week. But two months is ridiculous. If you have a young dog or one that doesn't need sick appointments then they're good. But if anything comes up, you're going to need a different vet.

Very respectful and knowledgeable staff. The Doctors and Vet techs really know what they are doing. Very busy place, always try and call as early as you can for an appointment. Highly recommended for your pets needs!

Once again, Jesse Lane came to my rescue with one of my cats who is different and not easy to coral. The entire staff goes beyond the finish line when caring for my 4 cats. I get follow up phone calls that come well beyond normal office hours and you'd think the vets have all the time in the world when they talk to me. When calling in to make an appointment, again, the front desk staff take the time to listen to me and I know they are up to their ears in phone calls and clients standing in front of them. They are so professional and compassionate. I keep referring friends to them and those that take my recommendation always come back to me and tell me recommending HAH was the best.

The vets are first rate and caring and have been accurate in their diagnoses and treatment of all our animals. Some of our dogs' problems have been very serious and I have had full faith in the doctors at this practice They will recommend a specialist if need be and aren't afraid to confer with an outside expert if they have a question. Every member of the staff has been sympathetic and responsive to our concerns. There are a number of vets at this practice which means someone is always (within office hours, which are long) someone available to treat your pet.
