I went to the gym last Thursday 06/16 and they was taking all the equipments and machines out it look like they are moving or closed but They don’t send any message email to let the clients know . I’m so disappointed because is the only gym at Westborough they should let we know before they move because I still paying for use the gym .

More so a comment on Crunch in general, but this gym closed its doors with no notice at all to members beyond an email the day it happened, leaving everyone who went there to fend for a new gym without any warning or be forced to go to another Crunch gym further out. Feel bad for the staff, and hope they were offered relocation positions. Probably should have gotten the hint something was up when the equipment was breaking down and no one was bothering to fix it.

Worst customer service ever. I am trying to cancel my membership since i moved out from Massachusetts. It’s been more than two months i am calling this branch they never picked my call. I left multiple voice mails. I have sent them multiple emails but, still no response. I never experienced such worst customer service anywhere. Their voicemail always says that, our staff is busy in cleaning I don’t understand how many days they will clean the gym without attending the phone calls.

l like this gym in westborough..l love all the classes that they have it but the gym needs a deep clean , it is super dirty and dusty, the machines are really dirty needs some more attention ,the employees just clean in the middle of the place,the corners and the mirrors are super dirty too.

Been a member here for a few years. Only reason is because of their convenient location. But wow, this place is dirty all the time, lacks paper towels(to wipe down equipment). Half the equipment here is really worn down, doesn’t function or is unsafe. You pay a maintenance fee every year for no reason cause they don’t maintain anything. It’s sad cause this place WAS nice a few years ago but management and the owner don’t take pride in this place. They should really close it down for a week and do the work that needs to be done. Only reason for the 2 stars is the location and 24/7.

Could be great, but it is by far the worse gym I have ever been to due to the uncleanliness of the facilities. There is a legitimate concern of contracting Staph infections when you see a Gym to this level of uncleanliness. I've lived in MD, VA, MN, SD, CA and all over MA and this is by far the dirtiest gym I have ever been to. Could be an absolute stellar location and phenomenal gym. But the lack of cleaning shows a lack of care.

It’s been about a year since I’ve been to this gym. Went back for the first time yesterday 1/27/22, And wow was I surprised. The men’s bathroom and locker room are absolutely disgusting. Crud piled up in the corners, urine dripping down the outside of the urinals, mirrors were filthy, and it appears the locker room hadn’t been vacuumed since before I took my break. The best part is the employee was “cleaning” the bathroom while I was there. Not sure what he was cleaning but I would find another gym to attend until they clean this dump up.

The comments below that point out how cleanliness is a big problem here are true. The other week, I walked by crushed chips all over the floor and we found alcohol nips around and in the waste baskets. Sanitation products are hardly available as well. Paper towels and spray bottles are constantly running low or are out altogether, meaning people can't wipe down equipment and spread germs during cold and flu seasons. The town's mask mandate is currently not being enforced whatsoever. Half the people in the gym are not even wearing masks and should not have been permitted entry. The rest are people around my own age (college students and in their 20s) who brought a mask in, but are wearing it under their chins, around their necks, or beneath their noses. There's maybe 5% of the crowd properly wearing their masks. Even some of the staff isn't wearing them. My girlfriend and our friends who also workout here have contacted the board of health on them, and will continue to do see daily until we see the mask mandate being enforced as it should. The place also gets very busy and messier when students around my own age are home from break during the holidays, early winter and summer, and the equipment you need is hard to get to. I only gave this two stars because it could be a better gym if it wanted to, but the same problems keep happening again and again.

I have been noticing the cleanliness level of this gym has sharply declined over the last couple of months. The amount of dust and dirt in the gym is gross. I have not seen an employee cleaning in the gym for at least 3 months. The turf area is always littered with dirt and equipment and has lumps that are a serious safety hazard. When I went to the gym to use a treadmill this morning I was disgusted by the layer of dust covering the base. I have been a member for a long time, I have never seen the state of this gym so bad. …. Update 12/4: Thanks for your generic comment @Crunch. Took the time to respond & treadmills still haven’t been cleaned 😂

This gym is very unclean. There is either trash or dust or dirty paper towels everywhere. I stopped doing floor exercises because I was so grossed out by the floor. The space is great and there is a ton of useful equipment. It’s just all over the place. Nobody re-racks and I think just labeling where things should go would be an easy fix. There are also some maintenance things like fixing the rips in the benches or tightening the barbells. In the last 6 months, I have never seen someone working there. I hope you realize how much business you are losing when nobody is there to sign people up for memberships. I also don’t understand why it’s not a 24-7 gym if nobody is ever working. It can be super inconvenient and there is absolutely no communication about changes in hours. Sending an email would be courteous if you are making changes to a set schedule.
