This Meijer gets three stars for entertainment. Visiting this Meijer was an experience. Upon entering I noticed there were no carts available. At this Meijer you find your carts randomly scattered throughout the aisles. Some of the carts that you find are empty and ready to use, while others are filled with groceries. It's like there were a bunch of shoppers that disappeared mid shopping as though Thanos snapped his fingers. Thanos does not discriminate though because he clearly got half the staff too. The shortage of cashiers is apparent as you have to move in and out of lines while shopping. The lines extend down the aisles. Thanos must have gotten the self checkout registers too. Only about 50% work. Would I shop there again? No but I recommend the experience for anyone who wants a laugh.

I truly enjoy Meijer because the store is really spacious. I also enjoy Meijer because of the multiple check lanes. The staff is kind and always smiling. The store prices are a little more expensive than a Krogers. However, Meijer has more bakery options for Diabetics (no sugar added). But, not a lot of no sodium can vegetables options.

Umm depending on the time of day you go can depend on your experience, I am very grateful for the Credit Union branch that was added. This will for sure not only bring me here more but I'm sure other Credit union account holders, cause finding co op atms can be a pain. I usually find everything I come in for...so yes it's okay, considering it's in the city, it's on the borderline.... and it's In a high traffic area, that will only get more traffic soon. Enjoy before Amazon takes presence!

No store should have a produce section as horrible as this one here was. There was no good choices of lettuce. And I love my vegetables! I was not satisfied. And they didn't have a great selection of Waters. No Nestle pure life. The one there has two missing...smh.

Stock is better at this Detroit Meijer than in 90% of suburban Meijer. Employees are friendly, the store is routinely cleaned. My dogs love the constant influx of new toys. The gluten free section is twice the size of other Meijer's. Constantly finding new products here before other stores

😒I was quite disappointed in Meijer the other day. Why do they only have three cashiers with 152 customers? Even the self checkout was double lined up to the regular cashiers!! I like paper bags for my cereal boxes& 🍞 bread...there wasn't one anywhere!! Did the management quit for everyone to fend for themselves?! There's no manager walking around to check how things are going or if anyone needs help.....nothing. I'll try the Grand River store or just go to Kroger. Hopefully they'll have workers around, sales, cashier's, anything!! Wish me🤞🏽luck!!

The store is always kept clean and the staff is friendly. They seem to usually have what I need. If you're looking for the best selection, go in the morning, not the evening when everyone has made it in from work.

A basic Meijer. Bottle return has the craziest changing hours on a day to day basis. Get there early if you have bottles. Men's bathroom needs Improvement but overall a great shopping experience. Fresh Fruits and Veggies are normally very good quality you just have to search through for you desired ripeness. Meats are usually pretty well quality also. Since the pandemic I have noticed most major brands have been hit or miss but the Meijer brands of like are 99% available. The store is always clean and employees can been observed cleaning while your shopping. Locating items are not much of a hassle, the team members are helpful and knowledgeable about most parts of the store and if not will locate someone in that department if needed. It's a safe shopping area as well, aside from security Detroit Police can be spotted on the grounds almost at all times.

Went to get License Plate Tags. Expected to be able to use cash. Get to the end of transaction and could only use credit card. Canceled first transaction. Tried a second time only to get the same message. Had to spend additional $10 dollars because I had to use a CreditCard. Machine should not show cash if it cannot be used. VERY DISSATISFIED

I’m increasingly surprised with this store. It being located in 8 mile perception is that it’s a rough store but honestly it’s much better than John R and 9 Kroger. Kudos to the team here. I’ve done in person and pick up here. Both are good.
