This place was never great. Ok at best food wise. The service has sucked since day one. Typical Port Huron restaurant. Bad service, bad food, poor management and no one cares about what the customers have to say. Go ahead and try giving them advice. I'll bet anywhere in Port Huron at any restaurant it will be the same. They look at you with a blank stair, shake their head up and down and forget your face as soon as they leave your table. Then offer you free food that you didn't like to begin with. Cook at home is my best advice. Or, come to my house and I'll start the smoker and have real food.

I grew up in the area and always loved the local charm and great food, but when I went in with my family last month we were treated like a major inconvenience by who I believe is the newest owner. First she asked if our infant was going to stay in her car seat, and when we said yes she started to seat us at a booth. When we asked for a sling for the car seat she responded that she’d have to put us at a different table. I’m not sure why she didn’t ask if we wanted a sling or where she thought we were going to put the car seat. Then one of the members of our party ordered CC stix, and when they arrived she asked for more cheese, and the server asked what size and brought it, but when the bill came they charged us $8 for those 2 little cups of cheese, which we wouldn’t have ordered if we were told about the charge. When we questioned the high cost, the owner loudly announced that the charge could be removed but our server would have to pay for it. It felt like she was making an unnecessary scene, and honestly she was just very rude about it. We paid our bill and let the server know that we didn’t fault her (though she should have disclosed the charge, but I guess we also should have read that in the menu). We certainly didn’t make her pay the ridiculous charge for the cheese. We won’t be back and have warned our local loved ones of the terrible attitude of the woman who made an awkward point of telling us that she made sure there was a changing table in the men’s room since she has owned the place. Well good, thanks for that at least.

The food I ordered was prepared, in my opinion, just perfect. I ordered a steak, broccoli, and tomato slices which I was thrilled to see on the menu as I love tomatoes. The staff was incredibly friendly and I was really happy they treated my 8 year old as nicely as they did. She was ecstatic to get a balloon and a cookie. It was a really nice touch. I will definitely dine there again when I return to that side of Michigan.

Good food at a good price. It is hard to get good service these days but they are trying and did a good job. The waitress was juggling several tables but made a point to check on several tables at a time and she got everything right.

Came in due to a car issue, was on the nearby corner. I came in cause it had a nice looking outside. The inside was great. Very fun stuff on the wall design.i was seated immediately. Stephanie was very nice and got food out promptly too. I was done with my meal by the time my car was fixed. Nice way to brighten Up my day

Wait staff very friendly and respectful of our handicap needs. Food was very tasty. We all had enough for a twofer/threefer(food for up to three more meals) yummy! Too good to leave behind. Every welcoming. Parking: Ample parking easy access. Wheelchair accessibility: Space between tables extra space to walk safely. Bathroom very clean and accessible.

Went there for the first time today. Very interesting place with a very wide verity of food on the menu. The chicken parmesan was very good I would definitely recommend it 😋 I went with a group of us and everyone was was very happy with the food and the service was Amazing!

Well Cheap Charlie's was not that cheap..But food was good and server RyAnn was very good. We got chicken parmesan and baked cod with onion rings. The soup was ok...for sure kids meal size cup. Onion rings large and tasty. Cod was small order but tasted good I was told. My Italian sauce was bland. Chicken was tasty and Chrisp. Not sure but could have been frozen but it passed. Will be back to try different stuff.

I had the all you can eat Walleye and Cod and the wife had a chicken dinner. Both meals were excellent. I also had the best French onion soup. They must have put a pound of cheese in it.
