We had an amazing experience working with PODS on our move across the country. From my first contact with an agent who was super helpful (Valerie M!), to the cheery and capable drivers who delivered our containers and to the scheduled pickup at our local PODS depot... I can't believe how well the entire move went. And it was because of PODS amazing organization and support throughout. We'll definitely use PODS again. Moving isn't easy, but PODS made their portion of our relocation the easiest portion of the adventure.

Our POD was never shipped and it’s now delayed 14 days. We have no clothes, beds or housing supplies. PODS offered us $100. That’s correct, $100. All reps were unprofessional and useless. (Amanda and John) We have no were to go! We need help! DO NOT ISE THIS COMPANY FOR MOVING!!

We were hesitant to use PODS at first with the cost and not best reviews online. We moved cross country from Washington to Michigan and the cost was going to be very high to move our whole townhome. We ended up selling most of our large furniture and got just one 16ft POD. We were worried that it wouldn't all fit and reserved a tag along uhaul trailer just in case too (we ended up not needing it!). We were lucky and got pretty much a brand new POD with a hard top so we were happy about that. Pros: easy cancellation with no fees if done early if plans change, able to drive just our own vehicle and no large moving truck (esp. with gas prices currently), didn't have to do much work once it was all filled, pick up/drop off went well for us, customer service seemed to work okay on our end Cons: MAKE SURE you have the space to have it dropped off-we had to talk to neighbors beforehand to move their cars to make room on the street, ours did get jammed trying to open it afterwards but our service man helped get it open, trying to schedule it needs to be done far in advance, timing for delivery you need to be flexible that it could be a few days late and you only get your 3 hour window the night before Advice: MAKE SURE you strap things down as you pack. Things do need to be tight and secure otherwise yes your things will probably break. Have a plan for packing and get some friends to help. Also, wrap your furniture with blankets and stretch wrap to help further protect it. Before closing the door make sure last items are secure as they will shift and could cause the same problem we had with the door getting stuck when arriving. Try to schedule at least 3 months in advance to get best prices and schedule everything ASAP before times get booked up. Be flexible with it coming a few days late as things can happen on the road. Don't put things in it that you need right away. Overall I do recommend for a long distance move if you are well prepared.

I wanted PODS to store my stuff. I received a document outlining my payment details and called to cancel my pod because the price was WAY to high. If I had to pay a monthly fee, they can pick up their empty pod and I would find a cheaper storage solution. The person who I talked to on the phone assured me 4 times that I would not have to make monthly payments and the document was mistaken. Monthly payments are not a part of my plan was the reason given. A month later they tried to charge my card so I called and asked what's up? They told me that I owed $229. I told them what I was told on my last call and they said that they would open an inquiry with customer service. They where still trying to run my card so I called again and asked if they would stop trying to run my card. A few weeks later, I received a call asking for payment. Here I was informed that my inquiry was closed. Don't waste your money, this company is trash who baits customers in with bold faced lies and they don't even have the decency to take their customer complaints seriously.

We’re still having a terrible experience I cannot get anyone to call me. All they do is send me an email. Then if I respond they don’t respond. Would never recommend them at all and I would never use them again. They are much better companies out there. Save yourself some anguish

Don’t use Pods!!! My container was so old, the top cracked on the farthest end from the door. Water leaked in, damaged my stuff. No help or compensation from Pods. Worst, most horrible provider!

Have moved from CT to MI and back again 3 times before, driving the huge truck myself full of my 3-bedroom house of belongings, towing cars pets and the kitchen sink! PODS made this episode of cross-country moving stress-free and spared me soooo much work! The teams that delivered and picked up the PODs were super friendly and crazy-skilled! Very conscientious despite being lightning fast. They know their stuff! In the end, using PODS saved me money too. Far more affordable than the other options out there. Am so glad this move is over- and even more glad to have chosen PODS to make it happen :)

Best moving experience of our lives! Worth every freaking penny. Moved all the way from Michigan to Colorado! On time, professional, funny, very careful. We'll never use a uhaul again! Love PODS!!

Moved from California to MI everything goes fine getting here but now all of a sudden the drivers won’t deliver our two pods to Big Rapids, not because it’s outside of their zone but because they just won’t. No reason. We’ve called multiple times and all they’ve told my husband is that someone from customer service would call us. We’re going on almost two weeks now with no contact. We have now put over $10,000 in to this company to have our items moved and now they won’t deliver them to us all the while charging us $500 in storage fees at the same time. Both my husband and I are disabled veterans and are on limited income and we now have to spend even more money to hire a company to unload our items from our pods and drive them to our home.

Every transaction made with PODS from getting a quotation until the empty POD was picked up was smooth and easy! Each person we encountered from the company were helpful and customer service is top notch. Accurate charges, delivery and pickup are on time. I would use them again in my next moving container needs!
