Delish! We were bummed they closed the Westside of Lansing location. So we felt compelled to support the business. We love their antipasto, meatballs with marinara, super 6 mile with old world pepperoni added and thin crust Greentown plus chicken. It was delicious as usual. We always say we will share a 4 square but end up getting our own anyway. So many different options to choose from you'll never get bored. My Detroit born Hubby loves this place the most for pizza!

This is the second time in a week I ordered Buddy’s bread, and they served it dry and hard. You can tell how the bread is curled over, that it has been sitting for quite some time. The bread is almost 6 dollars, on top of a $15 salad. When bagging the bread, I’m sure almost positive the employer sees the bread with crusted, dry edges and hard to touch. But in today's tradition of customer service, I have been presented with a much higher bill and less food quality. I would take it back to get my money back or fresh bread, but I'm on my lunch break and have no extra time to spare. By the way, the salad was decent, hints two starts instead of one star.,

Stopped by to try dining in instead off take out and was pleased. The restaurant was not very busy so we were seated quickly. Our server was amazing, very attentive but not annoying. I think there is a fine line and he was perfect. Ordered some garlic bread as pizzas take a while to cook correctly. The bread came with delicious ranch and marinara that compliment the bread not overpowering. The pizzas were out quickly and cooked perfectly. It was nice having hot pizzas instead of some that cools on the way home. The next time I need my Detroit pizza fix I will definitely be dining in

The service here is great. We have been multiple times and each trip the staff has been kind, quick, and accommodating. The food is American Italian. The pizza is a unique spin on Detroit style with caramelized edges and is thick, but not as thick as Jets. The interior is clean and well maintained. The price is I bit more than traditional pizza joints. Their children’s meals are certainly worth the price.

Coming from another country and culture, I have never gotten used to the taste of Pizza here. There were many times that people suggested a place and I went there only to be disappointed. But, Buddy was not one of them. It was my first time trying Detroit style pizza and boy it did not disappoint. Service was great, atmosphere was great, pizza was great so all in all it could have been a 5 stars experience. The only complaint that I have is regarding their meat options. I don't eat pork, and if you consider that, you are seriously limited. I ended up ordering a vegetarian option, it was good but with respect to all vegetarians out there I'm a meat guy. So, I suggest that for future they add beef steak and options like that as well. But, all in all, it was an enjoyable experience.

This was my first time in Michigan and I heard a lot about buddy’s pizza so of course I had to try it. I also found out that this location recently opened so we did not dine in. The wait time was over an hour!! All I can say is that the crust was a bit soggy, I expected it to be crispy. The toppings, cheese and sauce were definitely fresh. I honestly enjoyed their wings much more. The wings were very fresh and crispy - but not too crispy. I am also not a fan of buffalo sauce but their Buffalo sauce was very delicious. If you’re in Michigan try it for yourself.

Awesome! great food and service.i had the grilled chicken tenders salad and my friend had the Greek. We also had the bread sticks that wasn't fully cooked. But we sent them back and they cooked them longer

Bartendress Mary charged me for more drinks than I had, which they had to correct. It wasn't busy enough business wise for the slow speed of service i received having to remind her of orders i placed, and having to flag her while sitting at the bar with my drink empty for 10 minutes. 🙄 Pizza is good, lucky I got the 8 square because the center pieces are the best. The rest have a lot of bread and crust, which I guess is the inferior detroit style they brag about. 4 square would be too much crust for my taste. Had the buddy's brew beer, and it was decent. The kitchen had 8+ people, the floor had 12+ employees and it wasn't that packed and yet service was slow.
