Just moved to my apartment complex this is the second time that this post office has lost my mail the first time they were supposed to hold on to my mail for at least 10 days so I could pick it up they did not they sent it back to the sender but when I went to the post office they said they had no record of any mail being delivered to me. This time around I had something delivered to me last Friday it had my name on it and my apartment number and I called the company that sent it and sked them why have I not received my package? They inform me that looking at the UPS tracking my package was delivered last Friday September 30th. I inform them I never received it. I called the post office I gave him them my tracking number and they said it was delivered last Friday and I told him I never received my package and the person I talked to said that sometimes they put it in the wrong mailbox if it doesn't have the apartment number which my package did have the apartment number on it because I called the company and clarified. I informed the worker even if it didn't have my apartment number on it which it did, my mailbox still has my last name on it and why is it so hard and confusing to put it in the right mailbox? they need to either hire new people or better train people on how to do their job because now I have to wait for another package to arrive. What if it was something that I could not get a free replacement on? I would be out of money and out of my item. It's very frustrating and discouraging because now I'm worried about even having stuff delivered to my address since it seems like they can't do their job properly and will just leave your mail wherever and with whomever

Dan who delivers our mail is the nicest man, he went out of his way to help me and he was happy to as well and that made me feel not burdensome. I live on Gingham Ave he should be given a bonus and raise. Anyways amazing customer service

I have had only positive experiences here. Counter clerks are friendly and helpful. Self-service works well and is an efficient method if one is in a hurry. I will continue to support USPS and hats off to those at this site.

I ordered something from Amazon. Sometimes they come via Amazon, ups, or the postal service. I received a message stating that my package arrived and was in my mailbox. Nothing was in my mailbox. I went to the post office to see if it was there by mistake. The lady wasn’t friendly and seem annoyed and confused that Amazon packages would come via post office. She told me that the manager would be out to talk to me. She put the next window sign up and left, even though there was a line of people. The manager was super friendly and helpful. I just want my things.

Clerk 6 took her time with helping me choose the right packaging for my Express mail. I really appreciated her patience and professionalism. She made me feel comfortable (not so rushed at all) and she listened to my concerns and answered my questions. She was AMAZING and I appreciate her for all of her kindness. Recently, a postal driver mistakenly marked a package as 'delivered', but neglected to leave it at my door. I called the post office for assistance; the clerk was friendly and reassuring; 20 minutes later, she knocked on my door, delivering it personally! This is just the most recent example of the excellent, consistent service provided to my family by the Portage Post Office - both in shipping and receiving items - for many years.

Always a power trip with these people. They’re so miserable that they have to try to one up you any chance they get, I suppose that’s what it’s like working for the gov’t. I’d never want to know. It must certainly be an insufferable existence if they threaten to open your package in front of you, like you’re supposed to be scared of them. I’ve seen prison guards act with more tact and grace. When will these jobs become automated?
