They loaned me a car that broke down to no fault of my own, and tried to hold ME responsible. On top of that, I had to fight like hell to get my $250 deposit back. This place aims to cheat people out of money. Flat out.

Although the initial retrieval of our rental car took longer than we would've preferred, the car itself was wonderful and the guys helping us were very kind. Having 2 kids with us, my wife and I had our hands full, but the employee at the check-in was kind, quick and understanding (as were the wonderful people in front of us in the line). The airport pickup was trickier than we expected as their van is at a different location than the other companies. Overall, I would use them again because they had a more affordable rate.

This is my second rental experience with Executive Car Rental. I will be using them ever time I fly in to Detroit. Morgan call me confirm my reservation the day of and to explain what to do when I arrived ( I was still on the plane). When I landed I got another call from John confirming the reservation and also letting me know that someone will be their to pick me up shortly. Then the real magic begins. When I arrived, Morgan was my car rep and explained everything to me like a professional should. I was able to get all the extra protection that we all NEED when renting a car. I will be renting their vehicle for 11 days - and even be being a great NYC driver!!! Things happen that are out of our control . So for $9.99 a day I got the deductible protection and for a flat $39 I got the gas refill package . Worth every nickel. So I’m giving them 10 stars!! I’m a salesperson and I’m all about white glove service with my clients.. Executive Car Rental wins my business ever time.

Everyone from the shuttle driver to the man working in car lot was so helpful and pleasant. From the minute we walked into the office it was welcoming and friendly. The office was decorated for upcoming holiday that made me want to get excited about the season. I travel for business and have never been offered a bottle of water at front desk. I appreciate that I wasn't hassled about buying insurance too. Kudos to Carlos who checked us in. Best car rental experience I have ever had.

Jackie was super helpful, professional and very nice, as were everyone we talked to at the location. Shuttle was very prompt and professional and took us to the rental location swiftly. Office was clean, professional and they had us in our rental within minutes. Car was extremely clean, well kept up and in like-new condition. We will definitely be using Executive again!

I know that from the outside, it looks a bit...well...creepy. However, this place is HANDS DOWN the best car rental experience I've had. I had a terrible travel day. Just horrible. I walked into the building expecting it to be sleezy, but was totally wrong. The kind employee was thorough, efficient, kind and empathetic. Not only was she supplying me with a steady flow of bottled water during our exchange, her positive attitude somehow changed the trajectory of my day! If I lived in Detroit, this place would be my go-to rental company. The price was very fair, and the car was very clean.

Normally it’s very impersonal and a very negative experience to rent a car, but not with these guys! It started on the shuttle... the driver just made the ride as positive as possible with his kind smile, politeness, and even offered us a water. Then get this, they make you feel like a human when checking out! I was not rushed at all and I left feeling like I just hung out with a good friend. It wasn’t just me either, my daughter even noticed! The car was clean and beautiful with a full tank. When we got back to return the car I thought for sure I just got lucky the first time around, but no... impeccable customer service again. The only thing negative I could even think of was it was a longer wait due to other companies running multiple shuttles and this one only running one, but this is probably because they’re newer and a lot smaller. A minuscule inconvenience for such a gem. And their rates are the most affordable too! We will definitely be using them every time we fly to MI!

We have rented from Executive on a number of occasions and have always been SO impressed with the customer service, the value, and the entire overall experience. Mark and John have been wonderful to work with every time and they remember us when we return for our next rental. Now that is great customer service! The shuttle drivers are courteous, the check-in staff are friendly and accommodating, and the cars are always in great shape. They really go above and beyond in their efforts to create a seamless experience! We would never rent from anyone else whenever we are in a location that they serve and they are growing so keep a watch out for new service locations. Thanks so much for your excellent service! We look forward to many more rentals in the future.

Customer service is NOT the name of their game. Also be prepared to wait at least a month to get your deposit back along with having to make several phone calls just to be told they already processed it when they haven’t. Most rental car companies just have it pending on your credit card and when you turn the car in it falls off and they never process it. This company actually charges your card the deposit and then takes an eternity to return it. Thomas and another lady employee that I spoke to at Executive are very rude and know nothing about customer service. Even though this place is a couple dollars cheaper than the other big name companies I won’t be renting through them again. I’ve tried to give them chances to redeem themselves time and time again but they just can’t seem to get it together. Also their shuttles take forever to drop off and pick up. Enterprise makes, on average, about 3 pickups and drop offs before theirs showed up. The only positive thing about this place is that the bus drivers are very nice. Also be prepared to wait a very long time once you arrive to Executive because what’s better then a longass wait after you’ve just spent hours on a plane and just want to get your rental car and get to your destination?! For some reason they only have one person working behind the counter. And then you will be greeted with an attitude and lies (they say 5-7 days about the deposit, beware it’s NOT TRUE!)

Good rental experience, poor billing. Rented for a week from Executive Car Rental. The shuttle picked me up fast, the driver was pleasant. Free water was nice. The rental desk was a bit slow, due to not enough help, but no slower than most I've been too. The car was nice, and was clean. Tank was full. When I returned the car, I was told the $250 deposit would be returned to my account within 48 hours. I called 3 days later and was told it would appear on my account in the next 2 days. 6 days later, and still no refund. At that point I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. Finally today, 10 days later, I got a refund. So, the rental experience was fine, and if it hadn't been for the hassle of getting my deposit returned, I would have likely rated 5 stars.
