I was here on 8/3/2022 to buy a used car after my previous vehicle tried to kill me on my way home from work the evening prior. Their used car sales department went above and beyond to ensure that I could drive off with a vehicle same-day. Christopher Thomas was our salesman, and we found him to be very efficient, professional, and polite. The used car sales manager, whose name I regrettably do not recall, also had a hand in securing us the best possible deal on financing and warranties. Overall, I would highly recommend LaFontaine Toyota of Dearborn should you be in the market for a used vehicle.

After doing tons of research, test driving a variety of cars, and talking to multiple salesman I finally found what I was looking for at LaFontaine. Shopping for a car can be really intimidating and many salesman would not give me break downs of everything I was being charged for nor did they know that much about the vehicles they were showing me. Johnnie was very straight forward, told me everything I was being charged for. I knew I wanted a Hyundai Santa Fe Limited and had looked at multiple before looking at the one at his dealership. He was the first salesman to explain a lot of the features on the car I was unaware of and could answer the questions I had about the car. Nothing is more frustrating then dealing with someone who is pushy and trying to get you to spend more money than you really need to especially when they can't answer all of your questions. This was by far the best car shopping experience. Johnnie even went the extra mile to have my car re-detailed, he put $20 worth of gas in it and had the scratches on the car buffed out. I grew up on Fords and had a bad experience with my first Ford. I absolutely love my Hyundai Santa Fe, highly recommend if your looking for an SUV and highly recommend you go see Johnnie!!

I purchased certified car from them. They taken sign from me on document suggesting I will not sue them and settlement will Be done at lawyers office in case car has accident history. After one year I found the car had bad driver door panel and paint of exterior start falling. Then I realized these people sold me car with accident history and not in good condition. And I paid them for certified pre owned car. Since I moved to California it was not feasible for me to visit them. But now i decided to give feedback on google to save loss of any future customer. I got Toyota Camry from them.

I told them I’m looking for a used car within the range of 2-10k$ and what my budget was along with bringing multiple pay stubs. They proceeded to show me a 19k$ car,told me they were going to try their best to get me approved and then ran my credit and showed me a 500$ a month payment plan. They could of easily just told me they didn’t have anything in my budget and that was that I get they tried their best but in the end they tried to get me to sign a 500$ a month payment plan and lowered my credit score. Be careful!
