Great staff. Just not enough of them. NEVER have I come here without having to wait for an hour average. Bank of America management needs to change. Please save this branch and save our business with you otherwise we will go to chase bank instead.

I realize that with the Covid crisis, the banks are understaffed, but that is no excuse for such poor customer service and misinformation. We were purchasing a home out of state and needed to do a wire transfer with the funds. Since my wife and I had never done a wire transfer, we wanted to talk with someone at the branch to be sure we had everything in order. After 2 days of calling(Ann Arbor branch) and getting no answer or call back, and trying to schedule an appointment online which the website wouldn't let us do. we drove the 45 mins to the nearest branch office. There we talked with a trainee who checked everything we asked about with her preceptor and finally said everything was ready to go as soon as we had our outside funds deposited and we could just come in and get it wired in about 15 mins. , no appointment necessary. On the day our funds were deposited, we drove to the branch and decided to call to be sure someone was available to help us. We actually got a hold of a person who told us they had no appointments, they don't take walkins and since the funds just got deposited that day, even though they showed up as available in our account, we couldn't wire them for 24 hours. Our closing was scheduled for the next day. Not knowing what to do we drove another 15 mins to the next branch office. There the manager got us right in, looked up our account and said no problem to wire the funds immediately. He then said he needed a drivers license and a B of A debit or credit card. We have banked there for over 30 years and never used on of their cards. We were then told we could not wire OUR available funds unless we had a valid up to date debit/credit card on us! The only way to get our money wired was to apply for a new card! How absurd, we called title company and they never heard of such a rule anywhere else. Needless to say, our banking is now going elsewhere, yours should as well. Branches must make up their own rules as they go along.

Higher interest rates for VA home loan compared to most local loan originators by a lot. Terrible service at this location and when I went to hand deliver documents that BOA was requesting for said home loan , they claimed after a 30 min wait that they had no way other than faxing to get those documents to someone who could load them into my profile, oh and I needed to figure out who needed them and their fax number. Ended up not being able to close after 3 extension due to appraiser taking a very long time and then bank not accepting it but also not doing anything to fix it besides wait, also bank added insane amount of rules with signing and adding VA numbers which is not needed and just busy work. Either the lady was just a highly unqualified loan originator or she just wasn’t allowed to help or something. It was terrible. And I ended up going with Veterans United which is completely online as far as I understand and saved thousands a year on a 30 VA home loan with my excellent FICO score and the loan closed quickly and simply. Also, the manager or whoever gets 2 feet from your face while they describe how to safely walk around the building maintaining 6 feet of distance is just... I don’t know, WHat is that guys deal? Does he not hear him self and recognize space and distance. I’m sitting out front now and the office is closed at 2:39 pm on a Monday with no notice on the doors of what the heck is going on.

We recently moved and have come to find out there is no B of A (I've been a customer for 30+ years) near Toledo so I drove to this Ypsilanti branch only to find it closed on Wednesdays. Fortunately I was able to conduct my business with the ATM machine. When I arrived home I checked on the internet where I found the branch listed to see whether it is clearly stated that they are closed on Wednesdays. It states they are closed Sunday and gives the hours for the other 5 days, but nowhere does it state they are closed on Wednesdays. Then I started reading reviews. Not surprisingly the reviews are consistently negative. There were a few good reviews but to me most look like a plant to make it seem this branch is not all bad. Sadly, it has become increasingly clear that B of A has its own selfish motives. I'll be moving my accounts when it is convenient for me. I guess my loyalty did not pay off with B of A. I could go on citing a litany of disappointments I've experienced with B of A but why bother, its over.

Worst banking experiences ever!! I wouldn't wish my worst enemy upon them if I had any. Twice now they have handed me a print out of when my checks will clear and they don't until a week after. You can't talk to anyone at the bank about this. I have tried to talk to the manager for help and he tells me that he can't talk to anyone about it and that I need to call. Bad customer service. I am switching to a credit union as soon as these recent checks clear

My husband went to this location to transfer money from his (BOA) debit card into my checking account and was treated terribly. They went round and round with him saying they couldn't do it because his name wasn't on my account and other excuses. They finally did complete the transaction. The security guard even commented on their rudness. This is not the first time we have dealt with their attitudes. We never have a problem at other branches, unfortunately they are not open for teller sevices right now.

if I could give a -0 I would. . I had my husband do a deposit which never showed up in my account, in which case I then called the bank 7 times in a 4 hour period however not one time did anyone pick up the phone. between long lines and waits as well as the ability to never answer the phone as well as the fact of being able to hear every single persons business when standing in line because the workers have no idea how to talk quiet only shows me that I will not keep using this POS BANK! I have had my Identity stollen. not threw a lost card but from the person getting my bank account number and routing number and I DO NOT HAVE A CHECK book that would allow for someone to get these numbers! I can not believe they can even keep their doors open as horrible as it is! I will be closing my accounts!

If I could give zero stars I would. I am giving my full name so the know who this is. Jeremiah pienkowski. I am a business owner and do over 2 million a year in banking. With chase. And they are amazing. I happen to be driving by bank of America and had a 2000 dollar check from this bank. Figured I would cash it. Simple. It's their check. I expect to give an ID and I know there is a fee. All fine. After one teller tried to get me an account he said he needed to get someone else. The came and then passed me to someone else. After waiting a banker had me give a thumb print and then explain why I was cashing the check. Then ask me to open an account for a third time. Then he went to see a manager and cam back and said he couldn't cash the check. Wow. Its their check from their bank. I agreed to the fees. I was treated like a criminal almost. I dont have to explain why I am cashing a check. I was dirty from work and dressed as a mechanic so maybe the peofiled me. But just know BOA i will pass my experience on to EVERY business owner I meet and every person I can. I have never been treated like this by a bank. I wont ever except a BOA check again. And i hope this review can convince others to change banks. This was horrible. The owner of the company that wrote me the check will be pulling his account as well. Couldn't be any more dissatisfied. They wont even honor their own checks. As I said. Wow.

Although the lines are long, at times, I mean come on! Banks have rush hours too! Lets be realistic and considerate adults here while leaving reviews. The bankers are amazing! Love this bank!
