Internet warehouse prices with small town local service! We needed a new washer and dryer, and after researching online we chose a set with free shipping to our zip code that turned out not to be free to our rural address. Fortunately I called Doug's and got a better model for a competitive price, and for $60 they hauled out the old and not only delivered, but set up in our basement, leveled, reversed the door to what we needed and made sure everything worked. Very courteous and professional from my first call with lots of questions all the way to cleaning up when they were done. Very happy to support a local business and now wouldn't buy appliances anywhere else!

Our washing machine got a hole in the tub somehow on Saturday. It was the machine that was in the house when I bought it so it was at least 15 years old and could not find parts to fix it. I went into this store on a whim because they are on my way home from work on Monday afternoon just to see what they had before I went to check out one of the bigger box stores. I walked out 10 minutes later with a receipt for a new washer and I am writing this review less than 24 hours later having already done 2 loads of laundry in my new washing machine. They came at lunch today and took the old one out and put the new one in. The prices were in the ballpark of what I researched on-line from any of the big stores. I don't know if I would have ever thought that I would get a good price at a local small shop like this and there is absolutely no way that I would have ever received such good customer service at a big store. I will be recommending this place to anyone that I know that is looking for appliances from now on. It is really hard to find a store like this that has fair prices and excellent customer service. If you live in the area, this should always be your first stop when shopping for appliances for your home.

My fiance and I just purchased a chest freezer from Doug's Appliance. From the get go they were amazing! On the phone I was being talked through which would be the best for me from price to functionality and size. I went to the store to purchase and order the freezer, and it was in our house a week later. They went through a lot to try and get the old, large, and swollen chest freezer out of my basement and never complained or acted like it was a burden once! We just moved to the area and are so happy to have a company like this in the neighborhood. They will be getting ALL of our appliance business. Thanks to everyone who made it such an easy process!

It is great to have local, small places in this day and age. Places like Doug's, where service and support matter, are too rare. My wife and I were on our way to the big city and the big box stores when our fridge died. We last minute remembered Doug's and stopped in. We were treated to amazing service, good advice on other appliances (including a wait to buy recommendation on a dishwasher), and great pricing comparable to most anywhere else. They had just what we needed and we were on a budget. They just made our month - REALLY. GO TO THIS STORE!!! A+++++
