I am a senior in an wheelchair the is on a pain mgmt program. I recently broke my ankle and had to have a doctor prescribe pain medicine for the acute pain. John the pharmacist didn’t not fill the Acura pain medicine and cancel the request. I have spent 3 days with pain medicine to treat the pain. John didn’t not do what the doctor originally request. Highly suggest not using

I am giving this pharmacy 2 stars because I called tonight and even though I asked a med question the person transferred me to the front of the store and then in turn they transferred me back. When I was albe to someone again regarding a prescription that my doctor gave me the guy basically said my doctor was a quak for writing me that med and that honey for my cough would be better. By this time I had had my rib splitting pee my self cough for three days. How about you pee your self everytime you cough and then get back to me.

Last night which was a Sunday night I went up to CVS to get some medical supplies and some cough syrup got their 20 minutes before they closed. Before I left for the store I called to verify what the hours were first before going up their because I’m in a wheel chair and it was dark out and it was my means of transportation for the night and I was scared using the wheelchair that late at night. Especially when I had to travel on the road cause the sidewalks weren’t plowed or shoveled. So I get to CVS all the lights are on but the door was locked no one their. Oh I was so tee off I had to ride my chair all the way to Walgreens now I could of gotten hit by a car cause it was getting more dangerous for me to travel further down University Ave. I’m one unhappy customer of CVS.

I showed up for my appt. at 10am to see a sign on the window that all appts we cancelled. A call would have been very nice since I left work and drive 20 mins just to turn around and drive 20 right back.

My covid test was scheduled at 12:10. There were 3 cars ahead of me. I got in line at 12:00pm, I didn't get to the window until 12:40pm. One car left because it was taking so long. I don't know why it would take 20 plus minutes to perform the self swab covid test. Once I got to the window start to finish it took me 6 mins. The longest part was the person inside handing out the test bag. If you are going to schedule Covid test at certain. Times have the kits ready and a person dedicated to that job. And moved the drop off box farther up so you get out of the way for the next person!

Obviously a case of terrible pharmacy leadership, the techs that were working were good, they understood and did their jobs correctly and efficiently. The lead pharmacist at this location however, does not know how to communicate well with her customers. I will never return to this location no matter what. The way that the lead pharmacist acted was unprofessional and was even asking personal medical questions loudly and from across her filing station to the drop off area. Please consider new leadership.

Today, called to transfer a prescription to the pharmacy, but the person who answered the phone was very rude. It seems I have to go back to Walgreens again!! They treat their customer in a way much much better than CVS. Customer Service Rating > Walgreens: 99 out of 100, CVS: 1 out of 100

The Pharmacist stated that they did not have the medication and that it was my doctor's fault because it is not a common drug and my doctor should have checked to see if this CVS location had the medication before sending it in. Since the medication is considered a narcotic, the pharmacists could not just transfer my prescription to a different CVS pharmacy, which is understandable. The frustrating part was that the pharmacists said they did not have enough time to call my doctor's office to have the medication re-prescribed to a different CVS location and that I had to it. So, I did it. This was also at a time when there was a line of 5 people waiting and the pharmacist said it was his end of the shift and simply left. It was just very accusatory behavior in why they did not have my medication, no wiliness to help the customer and the way the information was presented was not apologetic or nice.

Have had multiple issues. Given only 1/2 of my heart medications even though it was labeled that it had the full amount. Then another time I was told they would have my meds ready in 45 minutes I went back 4 hours later and they still weren't ready, so I had to wait another 45 minutes. Many times they have extremely long wait times. Many many issues but I can't think of them all. I switched to another CVS farther away but I am MUCH HAPPIER!

If there was a zero star rating option I would choose that. Poor staffing and drive-through gets closed during pharmacy hours to name a few of the perks of using this terrible pharmacy. I held on the phone for 55 minutes when I tried to transfer all of my prescriptions to the 24 hour Walgreens down the street, who by the way answer their phone within seconds every time you call. The Walgreens pharmacy refused to even call this CVS due to “long wait times.” I finally walked into the branch while on hold on my phone and requested my scripts be faxed while I stand and wait. They had one employee staffed for a Monday night post Thanksgiving. This is unacceptable and I will not do any business here again.
