Small store and not the most speedy service. The staff are helpful once you get to them. They seem to operate off of knowledge more than indexing. They had an interesting assortment of cheaper tools and clearance items.

I've bought many parts from this store before. Went in today to have them test a car battery that's been giving me trouble. Only one person working on Sunday, he asked me if I had to jump the car that I pulled the battery from. "Yes, I did" I responded, which is why I was there to have the battery tested. He said there's no use in testing it. "Why?" I asked. "Because once a battery is used up, it can't be used again. It's a myth that cars charge their own batteries. The batteries come fully charged, and over their life they get discharged. Once you have to jump the car, the battery is used up. The only way to get more charge into a battery is to put a 'battery charger' on it. No point in testing this one if you had to jump it." Now, I'm not an automotive engineer, but I am an electrical engineer, and I know this is wrong. Cars do charge their own batteries as they run. And even if you need to jump start your car, it doesn't mean the battery is 'used up' can shouldn't be tested. (You may have just left your lights on.) I tried to explain to him the truth, but he wasn't interested in hearing it. I went to a close by store and they happily load tested my battery for me. So beware - make sure you know what you're doing when you go to this store and take their advice with a grain of salt. I'm sure most of the staff there know their stuff, but this guy didn't.

So nice and helpful. I lost my mask on the way and I was kindly given a mask and one for the glove box. Product was great. The way a store should be run. 5 stars for sure.

Proceed with caution. This store will not accept returns. All I wanted to do was return a SEALED $19 gallon of coolant that I bought 2 weeks prior. Next time I’ll go to the Advanced Auto Parts store next door.

The gentleman working on Sunday 11/17/2019, during the afternoon was super helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, amazing. He was really kind, patient and informative with what we needed to purchase for our vehicle.

I went into NAPA of Hopkins on Sunday night 30 minutes prior to their posted closing time. I was having an issue with my car battery, the sales representative tested my battery and indicated that I go home and charge it, rather than purchase a new battery. He also let me borrow the required plugs to charge that style of battery and told me to "drop them off next time I'm in the neighborhood". In my mind this is top notch customer service! Because of this experience, I will defiantly return for future purchases and will recommend to friends and family!

My wife's car wouldn't start in the negative temps (Jan 2017). I got it jumped and headed to NAPA. They tested my battery (in the freezing cold) and gave me an honest opinion, that the battery life was just fine and that I didn't need a new one. I decided to purchase a new one anyhow with a higher Cold Cranking rating than the one I had. The gentleman didn't try and sell me on a super expensive one. He recommended one right in the middle that was one step better than my current. I appreciate that. Thanks and I'll be back!

APATHETIC ~Some of the worst customer service I've ever had. I ordered a part that was taken to some other customers location. I was unable to fix my car that night and had to get a rental car. I was told the part would be there the next day at 10am. I was there at 10:15 and the part had not been picked up yet. Brett and the other guy behind the counter offered no solution and showed very little concern for the massive mistakes on their part. DO NOT use this location or NAPA for that matter as this isn't the first poor experience I have had with them. Go just down the road to Carquest 11523 County Rd 3, Hopkins, MN 55343
