My husband and I had wanted to go to this DQ since January 2022, but they were closed. We found out they would reopen again in the Spring/Summer 2022. We had a gift certificate for that DQ only, but it expired in February 2022, so my husband got in contact with Jamie, the franchise owner of that certain DQ, and got her permission to use our certificate when they reopened (by writing 'per.Jamie' on our certificate). We finally got to go to the Hutchinson DQ in the middle of June. They open at 11am and no one opened the main doors. We waited for 10-15 minutes at the main entrance and decided to enter through the back entrance that we saw an employee enter through shortly before 11am, since that back door hadn't locked. The staff were surprised to see us and we said the back door was not closed after the employee entered, so we walked in since the main doors were still locked. There were about 3 staff members trying to get the main entrance doors to open, but they couldn't get it open. My husband helped them get the doors open. When we placed our order, we let the staff person know we had a gift certificate to use, but they didn't know how to ring up our order with that. That staff person just stood there looking at us and we told her to get the manager to help her because that was what we were using to pay. Then it took 20-25 minutes to get our food and we were the first people to place our order and there were only two other parties of 2 people each, who had ordered after us. We aren't impressed with the staff members or service at this particular DQ. New staff or not, they need more training or something.

I would put no stars if I could. This was the worst experience at a dairy queen I have ever had. I don't complain about food ever but the chicken strips were like rubber and the cheese burger was frozen. It was so nasty I didn't even order a blizzard. And the manager cooked it!!

Their staff is so friendly. The are was very clean. They have a lot seat there and they’re comfortable. You can eat inside. The food was really good. And doesn’t take long to make food.

Not a lot of organization and never double checking orders. We've ordered from there a lot, but wont be much anymore. Blizzard was soupy, never gave us any of our sauce, food was cold. And when I called to see if we could correct it, manager was unwilling to help. Too bad, because most DQ's are great.

I don't go there often, simply because it doesn't have a drive-thru. But being inside I saw the floor in the work area was very dirty, so I hope they swept it out in the evening. Also I got a blizzard, and only half the blizzard was mixed the second half of the cup was just pure ice cream. I hadn't been in a while, and I probably won't go back for a while.

Took 25 minutes to get our food and they gave us crispy chicken on my salad not the rotisserie I asked for, forgot the chocolate milk and made our ice cream right after we ordered it so to keep it from melting we had to eat the ice cream first. Everyone there is as confused and not knowing what to do. The tables were a mess and the garbages overflowing.

Decided to stop for a treat as had done in the past. Husband went in store while I waited in vehicle with pet. 20 minutes later he came out with a liquid blizzard and hot fudge sundae.. staff didn't offer to remake once they realized they forgot they hadn't given him the sundae and it had melted. WILL NOR BE STOPPING AT THIS STORE AGAIN.

Ordered a cheeseburger kids meal for my grandkids. The burger was overdone, lots of mustard, waited way too long and the place was dirty for being only at 11:30 Sunday morning. Needless to say the burger went in the garbage and clothes had mustard that dripped from their first bite.
