Update: I increased my rating to three stars. After posting the original review, HOM suddenly reached out to me and wanted to fix the issue for free. They did a nice job and my table looks like new again. Sadly, it took writing a negative review for them to do anything about the issue. I was sold a floor model of a coffee table at full price (I only took the floor model because shipping times were months away). After getting it home I noticed it had been broken and glued back together (see photo). It was on the side so I decided to just live with it. 6 months later the top surface is peeling off (see photo) and after calling customer service they said that it was sold “as-is” and there is nothing they can do. It was NOT sold “as-is” it was sold as a floor model at full price and should still carry the one year manufacturer warranty. Bad customer service!!!

Would not recommend Doc86 given me and my husbands experience. Me and my husband originally bought a living room coffee table set and dining table. We paid for it and picked up the furnitures ourself. A weeks later we get a call that they didn’t charge the full amount and needed to collect an additional $56 which we paid. At that point we ordered a new living room sofa and was told the delivery will be on Tuesday (today). My husband took time off work to be here when the truck gets here and also moved our old furniture to storage in anticipation for the new furniture. We didn’t receive a call from the delivery truck so we decided to call dock86 to inquire about any updates on the delivery we were told would be today. That is when the sales rep on the phone told us that the delivery will be on the 24th and not today which is not the information we received when we bought the furniture. Have never had this inconvenience before with a furniture company, and our old furnitures were from Ashley. Regretting buying furniture with Doc86 and really wishing we would have just went with Ashley furniture like before.

Hom Furniture charged me for 2 tables they did not have in stock. Then delivered used, broken, and dirty furniture to my home, and then refused to allow me to speak to a manager for two weeks to handle the issues. When I insisted that they pick it up, they sent one delivery driver to pickup a sofa and two swivel rockers, who informed me I would have to help him carry the sofa up from my patio to my driveway. It took two visits to the store and multiple calls to get an email from the web sales manager and a full refund and removal of the hold from my account, and the weakest apology I've ever seen from Jim Boroughs. I'm utterly appalled and in shock after being a loyal customer.

Best experience ever!!! The sales gentleman I worked with (wish I would've caught his name) was a pleasure to work with. He listened to what I was looking for. In the end.... I found the best sectional I ever laid eyes on. And I spoiled myself and got an ottoman too! In and out of the store in less than an hour! I can't wait to go back and get more furniture. :)

**Clown Show Alert ** Our experience with this company was so bad it's impossible to put into words. After waiting for weeks on end to get our BLUE couch delivered, we took a day off of work and they delivered the wrong COLOR, A GRAY couch. No biggie, right? Stuff happens. They took it back, called management and we were assured they would make it right and credited our delivery fee and promised to send the correct one out right away. Awesome! Believe it or not, after taking another day off work for the replacement delivery, when the replacement couch arrived, guess what color it was. GRAY! This time everyone from the delivery guys to the warehouse worker tried to convince us the GRAY couch they delivered was actually BLUE to which my wife responded by bringing down our GRAY ottoman from the chair of the exact same style that we purchased earlier to literally point out to the delivery workers that the BLUE couch they delivered was indeed GRAY. They finally agreed and took it back. They promised to "look into the situation" and said a "technician" would look at the couch and call us back. Which he did and advised us the GRAY couch would eventually "turn blue" over time and that was indeed the correct couch. We then called the store we purchased it from and told them our dilemma and they said they'd look into it as well and make sure we got our BLUE couch. TODAY we went into the store to make further arrangements to get our BLUE couch The sales guy checked the computer and ALL 14 BLUE couches in their system were marked damaged thus confirming our ongoing claims they had mismarked inventory and were delivering the wrong couch. While at the store we also noticed that the floor model of the BLUE couch, we purchased was marked sold.Wanna guess what that means? It means they SOLD the only BLUE couch they had to someone else after charging our credit card, holding our money while we waited, delivering the wrong couch TWICE with 2 missed days of work, lying about the color, trying to convince us to keep the wrong couch, and running us around for over a month. This place is a disaster on wheels. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!
