Chaotic energy from the back-to-school clearance. The customers were rude to one another and the anxiety of trying to find someone to help was enough for me to leave after 5min. Too many kids running around and the employees are wildly understaffed. No amount of “savings” is worth the nightmare of trying to find a pair of shoes to even try on.

Felt very welcomed in and was able to find exactly what I was needing thanks to the help of Cory. Highly recommend this store for anyone looking for a much more comfortable and affordable shoe. Came during their clearance sale and was very impressed in what they had to offer and how knowledgeable everyone was from conversations I was able to hear.

I have orthotic lifts in my shoes and needed to shop in a shoe store that has very knowledgeable professional and helpful staff. For me that will always be Schuler shoes. I found a great pair of comfortable good looking shoes. Thank you

I have only ever been in your store twice , today was the second time. I have an elderly friend who wears a foot brace and was looking for a shoe that would fit over it. The first time we came in a few weeks ago and Jeno offered to help us almost immediately. He was patient while listening to our needs and very helpful in finding a shoe that fit , long story short, very helpful , purchase made . Today 5/13/22 we returned to possibly exchange or return the shoes her Dr advised to get a smaller shoe. I walked my friend over to an available seat and I went to find help. An employee , older lady with short, short gray hair and glasses looked at me held her finger up as to say " I'll be right with you " and a moment later she then asked how she could help me and I proceeded to tell her what we were looking for and about the possible return. This is when she started to give me an attitude I guess because I had two requests ? She asked if I wanted to take care of the return first and was very rude and I felt rushed. I said I had to ask my friend if that's what she wanted to do and she didn't like that . Upon my return 5 seconds later a young man asked if he could help me and I said yes and before we could reach the check out counter she came over to male employee and totally ignores me and says to him " she doesn't understand , this is a simple return and I don't need the credit card, she doesn't understand. I stopped and told her I do understand . The whole time I felt like "what is this lady's problem " ? Aren't I the customer and is it not your job to perform good customer service ? Which this lady was clearly not doing . She had , had enough of me I guess and handed my receipt to the young man and rudely walked away. I am pleased to say that this young man displayed great customer service and we left your store as satisfied customers. Maybe that lady could use some retraining from her younger peers. I did not get our helpers name but he had brownish blond hair in a ponytail and glasses. The time was about 2 :00. It really is an awful feeling when when stuff like this happens . Upon reading some of the reviews I guess I'm not the only one who has had similar experiences with rude staff . Thank you Angie Aguilera.

Jamie was very helpful and patient with my Mom and me. We tried on all kinds of shoes and asked lots of questions. We walked out with 4 new pairs for our changing feet needs and size.

It was great! I love the store. The person who helped me with my shoes was friendly, courteous, and had good knowledge of various shoe brands.

Until today I have only chosen to spend the time and effort of writing Google reviews to give out 5 star ratings to a few businesses. Until today, when a high ranking manager of Schuler Shoes literally threw shoes and an open box at me in anger. ***Intentionally.*** Several witnessed it, including 2 other employees. They as well as a customer told me I hadn’t done anything to deserve the manager’s anger, much less this projectile expression of said anger. Allegedly this manager’s name is Neil Mason (I’ve guessed the spelling). He threw the stuff at me after we politely debated each other for about 3 to 5 minutes during which time I never personally attacked, name-called, swore, or made any other Ugly Customer statement or act. I can’t say he intended the stuff (the shoes within their open box and its contents like stuffing & insoles) to hit me, but he certainly threw them in my direction as he stomped away like a tantruming child as he snapped, “Take them!” This was apparently his way of yielding to our debate on whether I should be allowed to keep the defective pair for free when my initial request had been to do an exchange. See attached pics; they started to fall apart within a few months of my purchase last year, and although they immediately agreed to replace them — hence 2, not 1, star — they couldn’t until recently due to supply chain issues. My previous pair had lasted 5 years, so I knew these were defective. Upon learning, however, from another employee today that the supply chain issue meant the estimated time for new availability is circa December 2022, I asked to also keep this defective pair (for grungy house and basement chores) since they’d already said they were too flawed to even fix and resell (the words “straight into the trash” were said at one point). These are the only activity shoes I can wear with my orthotic brace, and moreover they’d forgotten to call me in February and it took my finally calling this April to ask if they’d arrived yet. I politely persisted in my side of the debate when the manager’s only offer had been to let me have both pairs at a discount at best because this is their rule. I repeated that they weren’t going to be fixable anyway, so I hated to waste the flawed pair to an arbitrary rule. If he hadn’t snapped and thrown them toward me, I would’ve added as my last point that I live on an income not far above the poverty line. As I conclude I’ll also add in fairness that I acted childishly as he angrily walked away, raising my voice to those in the store to describe what he’d just done. Perhaps this is why it took more than one request for me to obtain the manager’s alleged name, but as explanation, not excuse, his little tantrum left me feeling shaken. Whatever, first world problems, right? Generally this store is decent but this experience shook me enough to share here.

Wow. 4.7 on the reviews. Impressive. Well staffed and clean, unlike a lot of corners of the Rosedale department stores. 5 stars from me. Blake was excellent. Got me the pair and color I wanted and got out so he could continue with his other customer. Everyone was moving. Everyone was smiling and attentive.

Helpful quick personalized service by knowledgeable staff of both regular priced section and clearance section. Well worth time to stop by and browse unique shoes and boots plus sports and comfy footwear sections. You'll be surprised if you're not familiar with this very large store.

Always a great experience. Jenny has helped me in both my recent visits. SO helpful! Knowledgeable and friendly. I'm on my feet a lot for work and have a little planter faciaitis and a good pair of shoes is VERY important.
