When my dog was very I told them I needed help getting him in and out of truck so 3 people came out to help me get him out. When I picked him up from vet they helped get him in as well. They were very thorough with checking all possibilities on what was wrong. ONLY place I'll ever take my family (dog) to.

The staff needs better customer service experience! Every time I call in, their rude when asking for your info and they’re so quick to get off the phone with you. My dog ran out of her medication. Thinking they would send notification about it because its been a couple months that she was in there. But they didn’t! I ended calling in myself and found out that she needed to schedule an exam for the remainder of the medication. Mind you she was without medication for almost 2 months.

Worst customer service experience with Amy. Over medicated both my dogs with dental cleaning. Every staff that has been their left. They should be inspection done. Groomer gave me a card and said she was leaving. Never going back.!!!

Very impressed with this location! Everyone was very friendly and the vet, Dr Listani, was very informative and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed! It was our first visit with our 2 Great Danes and they were completely relaxed with the staff! Looking forward to our next visit!

Usually I have a fantastic experience with Banfield in Waite Park, MN. I know they have been short staffed and over booking with covid dogs joining the vaccination program/vet check ups. I called ahead of time with absolute care and knowledge that I would be booking outward. I found two lumps on my 8 month old dog - yes I am a helicopter dog mom and I worry about everything! I was able to mark the calendar for 0815! Perfect the rest of my day I can plan stuff. Mind you this is one of the only vet clinics that still does NOT let you go in with your animals on routine check ups. You have to call before hand and it is extremely impersonal. I get to Banfield 10 minutes early...I call to check in and I am told that there is a doctor meeting and my dog wont be seen until after 0900 because meetings typically run late. My first thought is...why schedule me for an 0815 drop off then and not tell me about this on my day of scheduling?? Then the vet tech proceeds to tell me the pick up time is going to be around 2pm to 4pm...NO! I had an early morning drop off for a reason...this stuff should be talked about in a scheduling day, again. I would not have scheduled an appointment. So my dog has to sit in a cage until they can be seen?? I am not thrilled with how overbooked they are scheduling and how impersonal this Banfield has become. I am not thrilled that a simple examination can't be checked out... I am not thrilled that none of this was discussed at my time of scheduling! Banfield...do better. I would desperately love to sit in with my dog and talk face to face instead of wait for a phone call and then all of a sudden I remembered something else that heaven forbid I need another examination now... I used to talk so highly of Banfield...now this morning...I was pushed over the edge. Do better for the animals and the owners.

Do not waste your money, I paid $40 every single month for my cat insurance and they do not let her come in cause she has no due for vaccine, preventive care but when I start it they said I can bring my cat in anytime I want, they refused check on her since July 2021. I told them I wanna cancel my plan and love bring her in before it cancel and they said no I can’t until I paid for next plan. It has been 7 months since the last time she got check on and I paid insurance for my cat on time every single month !! In Jan, I made appointment for my cat, the day before the appointment they keep call me and tell me I do not have to bring her in cause she is healthy and not due for anything then they cancel my appointment, told me I can make appointment before my plan is done but they did not let me in anymore after that. Never ever come back and will not recommend this vet for anyone I know. Very disappointed. Not worth.

My dog‘s wellness plan is one month away from the expiration date. One of the front desk automatically renewed it, she taking advantage of my anxiety about my dog. This kind of service I have never had in other banfield hospitals before.

I had to put my elderly dog down, and it was the hardest and worst thing I've ever had to do. The receptionist was very kind, fit me in and found a time when it would be quiet. The room had soft lighting and music. I rushed the process, which I regret, but I was trying with all my strength not to break down sobbing, and I knew I was only moments from completely breaking down. The process was straightforward and peaceful, which I appreciated. But the most appreciated part was when I was picking up my dog and turning to leave, and the nurse said "sorry". Just that one word spoken with true emotion was the little but of humanity that I truly appreciated. The prices are high, but I appreciate that they have always been upfront with pricing so that it isn't a huge shock at the end.

I love the competency, care, compassion, and friendliness of ALL the veterinarians and vet techs. When Perry was very ill, the entire staff was rooting for him to get better. I will not forget that! I also like the Pet Welness Plans that they offer. Some say that health plans are not worth it, but I have saved money using them. Banfield's hours of operation are great too. I had Dr. Ripple as my cats' veterinarian before she relocated to the Waite Park Banfield Hospital. I can vouch she is VERY competent and compassionate veterinarian.
