I found Christian Brothers Automotive when I was driving by. My truck needed brake, plugs and wires changed and i wanted new belts. I was very happy with the service man Kurt. He was very informative and went out of his way to keep me posted as to what was needed and when my truck would be completed. Fast forward two months later. My 2018 F-150 was making a shuttering noise on cold starts for 2-3 seconds. I had no idea what the issue was. I had someone approach me in a Walmart Parking lot and told me the noise was one of my "Cam Phasers" which had gone bad and he said if its not fixed it will cause issues with my timing chain and possibly destroy my engine. I called Sunset Ford and was told there was a bulletin from Ford regarding the "Cam Phaser" and the engine shuttering noise. I was told my vehicle would need to sit on their lot for at least 3 weeks until they could get it in and diagnose the issue. I said, I just told you it definitely was a "Cam Phaser" I was then told even if the diagnosis was correct and confirmed by Ford, Sunset Ford would not be able to get my truck in to service as they stopped taking appointments because they were 3 months booked out. I called Ford. Ford gave me the run-a-round as I was told they would assist me and find a dealer to get my truck in because of the engine possibly being destroyed if it wasn't fixed. The Ford representative LIED to me and said she would call me the next day, and e-mail that afternoon. I called and left 3 messages and never heard back from her. I was in a bad position, so I called Christian Brothers and spoke with Kurt. I explained the situation and he told me the cost for the labor alone was $ 3,700.00 because both the right and left side of the engine had to be taken apart down to the water pump. Kurt encouraged me to re-contact Ford as a portion of the costs were covered. Kurt gave me more than advice during that phone call, he gave me a sense of security that he wanted to help and wasn't trying to make a buck. Within 1 week, Kurt had located all the parts from Ford and delivered on his promise of getting my truck fixed in 5 days. The mechanic Josh, who I asked to meet was very humble and a pleasure to talk with regarding the repair work. I learned a lot from my interactions with Christian Brothers. They are trustworthy, very informative and they keep their promises. I will continue to keep them as my go to shop! On another note: I have purchased 5 brand new Ford pick-up trucks and I will NEVER buy another FORD period. All I can say is I will not take my cars anywhere else. And the gentleman at the front desk was straight forward and to the point and did what ever he could to make sure the customer was taken care of.

I went to this shop as a family member has been goin to them for years. My "regular" shop was under-staffed so I chose this repair shop to perform 100k mile maintenance & replace front & rear brakes. Fast forward to 8 months later & only 20k miles driven & my front brakes are shot! I need new pads & rotors. Bc it's been more than 6 months & over 15k miles, my brakes are no longer under warranty per shop manager. I've never had to ever replace brakes in that little amount of time & only 20k miles driven. Did they forget the lube during the installation process? I'm not a 2 foot driver, I don't ride my brakes. I am a cautious & aware driver bc my car is my life. When he asked if I did a lot of highway driving???? Duh. I drive my car. That's what cars are for. Bottom Line: I should not hafta replace my brakes if they had been done properly in the first place. And the prices are super expensive. Originally this was a 5 star rating until I found out my front brakes were shot in such a short period of time & low mileage. This shop did not lube the pins. They were dry as a bone when the tech at my new shop had to pry them out using all his body weight to remove them with a tool. & my rotors are burnt up with heat! My pads are warped bc of that reason & need replaced. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! Don't be fooled by "Christian" in their name! I have photos of the shotty work! I went there just for an inspection about 3 months ago. When I left, they tried to tell me I needed brakes, bad. I kept saying I haven’t had any issues with my brakes, he said well they are very low, Want me to get you a price? I said no, I have a mechanic I can talk to and I left. Fast forward 2 months later, still no issue at all with brakes, but I ran Into my mechanic and said hey, can you check this, because the guy was pretty adamant about my brakes. He checked them and said they were just fine. Actually a lot of life on them. So…….. was it because I was a female?? Hmmmm. Either way, they lied to me, and I won’t ever go back there

Honestly, I'm super excited about my recent visit. Needed to get two tires installed and they quoted me on 2 hours minimum. These people got my car done in an hour. I didn't even need to try to find a back up ride to get to work. Prompt quality service. 5/5 stars.

Always reliable. Called on a Monday was able to bring my 88 foxbody mustang in Tuesday and had the car fixed by Friday. Very professional. Great communication. They went above and beyond to get the car ready so I could have it for a surprise birthday party for a family member. I was able to take my brother from out of town for a ride who had never seen my hot rod because of their efficiency. I was impressed by how clean and inviting the lobby was and how they offered a free shuttle. Everyone there was really polite. My only issue is they need to make sure customers understand there will be additional fees for shop supplies added onto your bill that total near $20 extra or more and that's on top of taxes. I understand now that all shops do this or similar, but I was taken aback at how much the additional cost was for 'supplies' when I don't go to many repair garages. I expected the quote to be the final amount with taxes added later, not taxes plus extra fees. When all things are considered though, I really appreciate the 'Nice Warranty' and the shuttle and I'll use them again now that I know what to expect. Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my car here for safety and emission inspection,and they worked me right in. They checked my fluids as a courtesy, and gave me a list of things I would need to address, accompanied with pictures and price. They are extremely professional, friendly and great at what they do! Highly recommend them!

The waiting area is always nice and clean. The technicians at Christian Brother's Automotive in Arnold always do a great job every time. In all the years I've been using this facility, I have had very few, if any, actual issues with any of the jobs they have performed. They are a little more pricy than other, smaller, companies, but the increase in price is worth it for peace of mind and excellent customer service!
