I wasn’t sure if I should laugh or be upset at the mashed potatoes I ordered. I got a chicken sandwich meal deal with potato wedges and then paid over $2 for mashed potatoes and gravy in addition to that only to get a sauce container filled with a tiny scoop of mashed potatoes and gravy. Not sure what the deal is there but I won’t be ordering that again. ~Ashley

Bought a car from Direct Automotive for my 16 year old son. Before purchasing, noticed it was having an intermittent oil pressure light come on. Kim claimed she took it to a Volkswagen dealership and they replaced a factory sensor and the problem was no more. Come to find out, It was never taken to Volkswagen. "Her guy" looked at it and changed an aftermarket oil pressure sensor. Immediately the car started having oil pressure problems again. Kim was receptive at first and even had me bring the car back so "her guy" could look at it. Supposedly, he did something to correct the issue. However then it was now leaking oil...about a quart a day. Turns out "her guy" stripped the oil plug. I had that repaired at my own expense. Still the oil pressure problem persists. Responses to texts and messages started getting further and further apart until they just stopped completely. I have been ghosted by her entirely now. Today the ignition column has completely locked up and the car will not start. Completely stranding my 16 year old across town. I now have to have this POS towed to a repair shop to repair that so it can at least be started again. Having that same repair shop look into the oil pressure issues as well. I don't even want to know what that will cost. Payed $11k for an 11 year old car that I now have to pump $thousands more into, 3 months after purchasing. Do not get taken by this place. Buy from someone else. ~Ryan

Calvert’s in Arnold is the only auto repair shop my husband and I take our three vehicles to. We have been servicing our vehicles at this location for about 6 years now, and we are always very satisfied. Great customer service! They are friendly, professional, reasonably priced, and very efficient. Melissa the receptionist is so friendly and welcoming when you enter. Doug the guy in charge is amazing! He’s very quick at diagnosing the issue of the vehicle and getting it repaired quickly. There are several other guys that work by his side and they are all wonderful and hardworking. This group is trustworthy, & never trying to sell you parts and labor that you don’t need. For these reasons we will always continue to service our vehicles here. Highly recommended! CarStar was chosen for me through the insurance company to repair some damages from an accident. Honestly, they treated me great and prices were comparable. Kept me in the loop as to the exact process, assisted me with obtaining a rental, communicated to me throughout the repair, and the staff was very pleasant and nice. So much so, that I always received a “Drive safe!” before hanging up when communicating. When I picked up my car, they completed it with a full detail. I found Christian Brothers Automotive when I was driving by. My truck needed brake, plugs and wires changed and i wanted new belts. I was very happy with the service man Kurt. He was very informative and went out of his way to keep me posted as to what was needed and when my truck would be completed. Fast forward two months later. My 2018 F-150 was making a shuttering noise on cold starts for 2-3 seconds. I had no idea what the issue was. I had someone approach me in a Walmart Parking lot and told me the noise was one of my "Cam Phasers" which had gone bad and he said if its not fixed it will cause issues with my timing chain and possibly destroy my engine. I called Sunset Ford and was told there was a bulletin from Ford regarding the "Cam Phaser" and the engine shuttering noise. I was told my vehicle would need to sit on their lot for at least 3 weeks until they could get it in and diagnose the issue. I said, I just told you it definitely was a "Cam Phaser" I was then told even if the diagnosis was correct and confirmed by Ford, Sunset Ford would not be able to get my truck in to service as they stopped taking appointments because they were 3 months booked out. I called Ford. Ford gave me the run-a-round as I was told they would assist me and find a dealer to get my truck in because of the engine possibly being destroyed if it wasn't fixed. The Ford representative LIED to me and said she would call me the next day, and e-mail that afternoon. I called and left 3 messages and never heard back from her. I was in a bad position, so I called Christian Brothers and spoke with Kurt. I explained the situation and he told me the cost for the labor alone was $ 3,700.00 because both the right and left side of the engine had to be taken apart down to the water pump. Kurt encouraged me to re-contact Ford as a portion of the costs were covered. Kurt gave me more than advice during that phone call, he gave me a sense of security that he wanted to help and wasn't trying to make a buck. Within 1 week, Kurt had located all the parts from Ford and delivered on his promise of getting my truck fixed in 5 days. The mechanic Josh, who I asked to meet was very humble and a pleasure to talk with regarding the repair work. I learned a lot from my interactions with Christian Brothers. They are trustworthy, very informative and they keep their promises. I will continue to keep them as my go to shop! On another note: I have purchased 5 brand new Ford pick-up trucks and I will NEVER buy another FORD period. This "pharmacy" has gone downhill ever since it took over inside of schnucks. Been seriously thinking about moving my prescriptions to service at this store has gotten to be so slow. I can wait 30 minutes at Walmart. Honestly..cvs @ water tower place leaves a lot to be desired ~Ginger
