This facility and establishment are in it for the money and not the patient's health. I first went to a walk-in appointment at the O'Fallon location after experiencing knee pain. The first step was to perform an x-ray, which was inconclusive. I was then advised that I should get an MRI and book another appointment once I have the images. This is not the issue, and it was completely understandable. After I got the MRI, I scheduled an appointment at the St. Peters location. Since I work a 9-5 job, I booked the earliest appointment available to ensure I got all the work. I arrived on time and was sent back to a patient room. While waiting in the room, I heard someone let out a grunt and said, "here we go again." My first thought was, "I hope that wasn't the Doctor." To my surprise, it was Dr. Paul Spezia. This instantly put a bad taste in my mouth, but I ignored it for the time being. I was then diagnosed with bone bruising. From there, I was advised to use a knee scooter and follow up in 30 days. Once I arrived for my follow-up appointment, they stated I needed an X-Ray. I instantly questioned this because the original X-Ray was inconclusive. I tried to deny the X-Ray, but they insisted that it was mandatory. From there, I bit my tongue and complied with their request. Not to my surprise, the images from the X-Ray didn't show anything. I was then advised to use the knee scooter for two more weeks, which I did. A few weeks later, I returned to the office with the scooter to return it and pay the balance. To my surprise, the rental fee was more expensive than if I were to buy one myself. I asked if there was anything they can do for the price, and I was told to wait. After waiting for ten minutes, they stated that they could not adjust the price. From there, I tried paying for the rental with cash and was told that they do not accept cash. What?! This absolutely blew my mind. I will not be returning, and this is my first one-star Google review.

During June 2022 I tore the meniscus in my right knee. After 3 weeks the swelling had not gone away so I made a appointment at Advance Bone & Joint in St. Peters to be seen by Dr. Spezia. During the summer my knee had been drained of fluid several times and I went to Axes Physical therapy in the same building. My knee still has the tear but with all the care I received, the exercise program set up for my particular knee situation I feel 90% improved. I am walking and biking a lot, pain free. Dr. Spezia and his team are Fantastic, and I highly recommend then to family and friends. Advance Bone and Joint has a Amazing team for all your joint issues. Keep up the good work! Dr.Spezia and Nurse Practitioner Laura have given me excellent care. Their bed side manner is second to none and they have answered every question I have had and put my mind at ease. I have no doubt I will make a full recovery thanks to them!

Today I went to their walk in clinic at their new “amazing” location in St. Peters. The new building is beautiful, spacious and has everything under one roof that you’d need for orthopedics! Plenty of open spacious parking, waiting room is very big with comfy chairs and the staff, as always, are happy smiling and wonderful! I was seen quickly and Dr. McCallister was so friendly and professional, even as a walk-in, he took his time and wasn’t rushed. I cannot recommend Advanced Bone and Joint enough! Everyone from the doctors, PAs, nurses and front desk staff are great! A+++ in my book. Thanks for always taking such great care of me!

I went into this office the summer of 2021. The doctor was very quiet but gave me suggestions on what to do for my injury. They sold me a knee brace I needed and sent me to physical therapy and said to follow up in 4 or 6 weeks. At my follow up the doctor was in the room for about 30 seconds. Gave me information that wasn’t in line with what I had been told by him previously, or by my physical therapist. I felt he was rushing and did not have time to provide the care I needed. Then come the billing issues. I have over a $200 credit on my account here. I have called several times since December 2021. The third party billing company they use has submitted a request for them to refund my money several times. Yet the office is not responding and still holding onto this credit since the end of 2021! I would recommend you seek care elsewhere if you want to actually feel cared about, and have any overpayment refunds processed in an acceptable amount of time. **Edited to add** It has been 2 weeks since they responded to my review, but have not heard a word from anyone. And continue to get the run around when I call!

Dr. Spezia and his nurse practitioner Dr Laura are the most caring and amazing Dr's I have ever met! So eager to help and care so much! I am so thankful for finding these amazing Dr's they truly are one of a kind and absolutely phenomenal! Dr. Spezia has great charm and bed side manor and is so upbeat and positive,it make the hole experience an absolute breeze. Thank you so much to all that work there you guys are truly amazing!!!

The staff is very rude and not caring at all. The staff behave as if they are bothered to do their job. Heartless attitude and will NOT LISTEN to their patients. Worker’s compensation nurse is cold and ignorant to patients. Why are you in healthcare?? My advice to the doctors; get new staff that know their jobs and at least like people. The nurse practitioner is rude and arrogant and will not listen. I do NOT recommend this business to care for your family.

I utilized the walk in clinic for an injury to my left knee. I was seen by Matthew H. FNP and he was wonderful. Matthew has an excellent chair side manner and exudes positive vibes. Matthew is gentle and explained the entire process thoroughly. After my MRI I was seen by Dr. McCalister for a follow up. Once again, I was seen by a kind and gentle provider. Dr. did not burden me with expensive therapies or a brace. Dr calmed my fear of cortisone injections and reassured me that it shouldn't be too painful. Matthew PA administered an ultrasound guided cortisone injection to my left knee and I barely felt the injection. Matthew PA was pleasant and had the same positive vibes as Dr. McCalister and Matthew H. Kudos to this Orthopedic group for excellent patient care and compassion. The office staff are snippy and could use customer service training with a focus on adopting the same caring compassionate culture as their Healthcare professionals.

This makes my third visit for different issues and every time has been excellent. Even though there were a lot of people in the waiting room, no one had to wait very long and everything was quick and efficient. Most importantly, my problem was quickly diagnosed and resolved.

Today, I went in to this office with my insurance card. They already KNEW I had Anthem insurance. We double checked the Anthem website to see if they took my specific insurance type. There in black and white was Advance Bone and Joint listed as a provider for my insurance. I get to the window and the girl immediately said " we don't take Bronze Pathway X plan". So even though the website SAID they take my insurance, they don't. Beware folks. I am in pain with a shoulder problem and they turned me away. They said you can self-pay, but who wants to do that if you pay for insurance?
