I sent my husband in yesterday to return the new iPhone I got delivered last week. It was too big for my accessories and I needed to exchange. The man that helped my husband was accusing him of using the phone, had to check for a water mark on my sim because the “iPhone was very used.” It hadn’t been taken out of the box never mind used. My husband then explained that I own a business and I couldn’t go without service on my old phone because I was I work. Wouldn’t you know, Mr miserable didn’t listen and disconnected my line. Sat on hold with Verizon customer support for 3 hours on a Friday night. The employee helping us in Londonderry was huffing and puffing, 0% helpful. 100% miserable. If you don’t want to work then don’t. Ended up getting a $200 account credit after customer support looked at what your employee did to my account. Would of called to complain vs an online review but you don’t answer the phone either.

Management stands with a pad to make appointments and provide the "you will need to wait an hour to be helped" rather than help a customer. You are in Customer service and a so called manger! Time to act like it and loose the privileged attitude, roll up your sleeves and do something. My kids have better personal skills and they are under 13. Seriously this is the service that makes us want to change phone providers.

Now, if he was a customer, that statement would be reasonable, however this is a Verizon employee, so its kind of his job to know the difference between different phones and explain them to us who are just as clueless. He seemed more concerned about getting us to just pick a phone. We also asked if a certain phone came in a different color, when he said no, we asked if there is another Verizon store that had it in that color. He said "I don't know." (Which isnt a helpful answer) We asked if we could get someone to let us know when the next order of phones came in and he said "I won't be here. I work part time at the store in Manchester, I dont think they have it either." The guy didn't seem to know what he was doing, and his answers werent helpful in the slightest. Very dissapointed, so were gonna order online.

Immediately was yelled at across the store from a woman employee asking what I needed since they close in 30 minutes. Steve and Mike were the absolute best! I have been holding off getting a new phone for several years but finally had to go for it. Mike made my decisions uncomplicated and easy. Steve was able to complete the transaction with ease while having a few laughs. I watched these two deal with other customers while I waited. Lengthy post alert! Lost my phone yesterday so of course I was semi-freaking out, because it's 2021 and phones are life, right? So I decided to stop into the Londonderry Verizon right at their opening time today, hoping I would be able to talk through some options with a rep and purchase my new phone and relieve some of the unnecessary but totally necessary stress of not having a phone. Myself and two other customers were welcomed into the store with a "None of you have appointments?" by the woman at the front. She got their information and set them up with the two available reps. She then approached me asking what brought me in today and I explained my situation. She immediately advises me to call the customer care line...with my lost phone. Reminding her that I don't have a phone, she points me in the direction of the display phones, so I made the call, with my face almost resting on the display case with the two inches of slack the security cables have, while other customers are trying to look at surrounding phones...slightly humiliating. I connect with a customer care rep on the phone and he doesn't understand why they can't assist me in the store. That makes two of us! I'm unable to verify my account with him because again, I don't have a phone and he needs to complete the verification process with said phone. So he advises me that the store should be able to assist me. I thank him and we end the call. I then inform the in-store woman that the rep advised me to seek assistance at the store, as he was unable to verify my information over the phone. She tells me that she doesn't have enough reps to help me today so I'll need to place my order on the MyVerizon app, with my nonexistent phone. I told her I did not mind waiting for one of the in-store reps to finish up with their current customer, however long it took, as I was next in line. But nope, that wasn't an option. Again, she stated she did not have enough reps to accommodate me, and there was nothing she could do to help me because I didn't make an appointment, on my LOST phone. Absolutely appalled with the way my situation was handled and the complete lack of compassion for a customer in need.
