Update 3/29/22: another package marked as "in mailbox" but nowhere to be found. How many times can this happen? I shouldn't be afraid to order items through the mail because people can't look at an address on a package and match it to the address on the mailbox. You have one job. Update (5 years ago): a few weeks later... Another package lost, 2 days speaking to people that can't help This post office is constantly delivering the wrong mail to the wrong address, losing packages and leaving outgoing mail in the mailbox because there isn't any new mail going in. Any time I have called to ask about our service the person on the phone can't even figure out which route I'm on. No one knows what they are doing in the Meredith, NH Post Office. .

Small town local post office located in the downtown area. Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. They offer all the standard postal services and po box rentals.

Horrible!! Staff is rude. They post phony reviews too ... Like people are going to ignore the majority of terrible experiences. ,:\ I love my beautiful town , one thing that's honestly ticked me off is the mail service in Meredith. If you dont like your jobs then go do something you are good at. Seriously late packages, lying about why things weren't delivered. Wrong address etc. Multiple times they didn't leave notices for deliveries and a lot more crap that shouldn't be happening at any federal post office. Fire those incapable people and hire some people who actually care and are honest. Very much dislike this post office.

I swear if pony express were still an option, it would be better than this place. Totally unreliable, complaints go in one ear and out the other, and they are belligerent when you ask for help. Mail carriers aren't any better—lazy and we frequently get our neighbors mail. (Makes you wonder how much of our's they are getting?) There's no such thing as Amazon Prime with these guys, you're lucky if you see it in a week. And that's if you go pick it up. There's no recourse, no accountability. Huge problem. A total waste of tax dollars. But hey, they have nice pensions to look forward to don't they?

I was in the Meredith Post office today and I spoke to the Postmaster about an issue I am having with the Colorado Post office where my 2nd home is. The Postmaster made a call and was able to speak to the Postmaster in Colorado and we were able to get the issue taken care of. My wife and I love coming to this post office, everyone is very knowledgeable and very helpful.

I've had a PO Box at the MEREDITH POST OFFICE for 40 years. I love going in and chatting with the employees and my neighbors. PO staff have always been helpful and friendly, since I opened the box decades ago. My packages are always there when tracking says they are. Maybe once a month, I get a letter for another person, usually with a similar last name. So what? Reading the other reviews, those folks must be living in an alternate reality and visiting the OTHER Meredith PO - one that I've never seen. FIVE STARS AND MORE IF I COULD. PS: I purchase everything online, 700+ items on Ebay alone, NEVER a problem with this PO.

The Meredith NH post office is the king of not doing the job our taxes are paying these federal employees to do ! We are always receiving other neighbors mail and packages. Or our mail is left on top of the mailbox by other people who have received ours. Such a bunch of total loosers! We have never never had a problem at any other US post office except for the Meredith NH post office. Some of my neighbors are afraid to complain, because they feel the mail carrier will then Not deliver their mail at all ! Sorry....
