My daughter and I came in Sunday 9/11/22 and were greeted by Colin with such an amazing smile, Flo was our server, and was outstanding! We had oysters on the half and the swordfish dinner, my 10 year old daughter devoured! I had the seared scallops and they were perfection! Amazing chefs and the manager even stopped by to make sure everything was perfect!

On this episode of SEXY SALADS....💕 Guys, one thing I love is a Great Salad. This beauty is the Coconut Shrimp Spring Salad at Mr. Shrimp in Belmar. In addition to the shrimp, this salad has Cucumber; Tomato, Thinly Sliced segments of Golden Delicious Apple; Sundried Cranberries; Honey Roasted Walnuts on Spring Mix Greens topped with a drizzled Balsamic Vinaigrette. It was Very filing and Very tasty! Prices are reasonable and the location is literally 5 minutes from the beach! Remember to make reservations for this location!

Very happy to have found Mr Shrimp as a seafood lover. Prices are not cheap but everything is fresh and well prepared so you get what you pay for.. Have been there twice now and had two top quality meals. Broiled and fried plates did not disappoint.

Love the seafood fra diavolo. It has just enough of a kick.. The seafood here is always fresh. Their cocktail sauce is my favorite. I love getting it their peel and eat shrimp. The chocolate mousse cake is also great. They have a solid kids menu as well.

We had the best bridal shower at Mr Shrimp for my daughter today. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Vince was amazing to work with. Everything was easy and low stress! Easy parking for the guests was a plus! Highly recommend!!!

We absolutely loved this place . The food was outstanding ! I mean very outstanding so we went back the next night . The waitress was awesome . Most of all the manager Kim was exceptional!!! She’s the best we love her and will make this place our spot every year

Very good portions and very fresh tasting seafood joint not too far from the shore. I got some pretty standard by the shore food. There is a small store at the back presumably for shopping and to go that I did not venture into. The interior is spacious and bright and they were accommodating a large party when I was there.

Words cannot describe how delicious the clam pot (single) we just ordered to go was 🤤. Full of fresh clams, mussels, scallops, shrimp and lobster, this is my new favorite seafood meal for two on the Jersey shore. And that’s saying a lot as a foodie who lives for seafood. Note I don’t like the lack of sunlight to dine in at Mr Shrimp (why the closed shutters?) but I order their food to go all the time. It’s byob too if you decide to eat in.

This food was awesome, our server was not. It's unfortunate that our experience was just short of fantastic because of our server. We received and finished our appetizers before our server came by to take our dinner order. Once our food was served we were probably more than half done before the server checked on us. That was the last time we saw her until I flagged her down to get our check. With that said the food was fantastic. It's the only reason I would recommend going there. Maybe next time we'll do carryout.

Lauren, our server, rocked throughout lunch service on this Tuesday in mid August. I read online that they serve freshly breaded Ipswich clams and had to dine there. Appetizer of fried clams ($13.99), a lunch special of broiled salmon entree ( $13.99), a lunch special plate of 4 scallops and 4 shrimp ($15.99) served with fresh steamed broccoli and sliced carrots, sweet potato fries and homemade slaw. The fried clams breading needed more seasoning, tasted flat. Either salt the clam or season the breadcrumbs with bay seasoning or fish seasoning. The fresh fish pieces were average, salmon (Atlantic farm raised?) was buttery and tasty. I stopped by the fresh market to purchase lobster salad and some tuna. Both enhanced with celery, onion and really delicious. Great job to men in kitchen assembling these salads. Also bought some lobster bisque. The inside is spacious, urban and clean. I will be back to try other specialties. Nice place.
