I enjoyed the food and the drinks. We were seated quickly. Our food came out fast. We have a lovely view of the water. Our server was super friendly and efficient. After eating we sat at the bar and the lady bartender was absolutely delightful. She kept us laughing. Looking forward to going again.

Food and service were excellent. Restaurant is very clean, friendly staff, and delicious seafood with a wonderful view of the bay. The food is not cheap. You can save money by ordering from lunch menu. The food is worth the price. Seafood in general is more expensive, keep that in mind. They did have enough of a selection of non-seafood meals for those in your group who may not like it. Save room for dessert! Parking: Parking is available. The isles are tight. So you might have to back out into the street to go to next row.

Had the lobster roll and crab legs they were so good and perfect after our beach day. We also had margaritas can't remember the name but it had 3 juices with a little spice. I would recommend definitely! The plus was that we were able to dine with our dogs outside and everyone was friendly.

What’s up my peoples!!!!!!! 1st of all the place is nice. It sits under the Sandy hook bridge I think that’s what is called but nonetheless it’s a nice sight to sit and enjoy some seafood. The drinks were ok not signature just basic and at $15 a pop they should be. The food is fresh and tasty. I would have giving it a 5th star but the bar needed drinks to be worth the price. A mojitos with fresh mint and a sugar cane stick would of been ideal. Or a more delightful way of serving drinks like blackberry and vermouth mixed with anything. I’m a cold slaw type of guy. And the slaw wasn’t that bad.

I was grossly disappointed in the quality and presentation of the food. The clam chowder was cold, the lobster roll had no taste and the bread was hard. I was disappointed because I expected better, especially given the high price. I remember saying to the waiter that I have had excellent lobster rolls in New England and hope this is good. I gave three because the service was good. The waiter apologized about the soup. She said she would have taken back the food had I complained earlier. I chose not because everything was bad and realized we made a bad choice to eat there. The ambiance is good and that was what pulled us there.

This place offers very fresh seafood and great ambience. The swordfish was a bit too salty. The location is good, close to the Sandy Hook beach. Parking is limited though. There was some waiting time on a Saturday afternoon ~4pm.

this place is really kitchy and the decor is fun The Jersey lobster roll is delicious. So is the crab cake was a little disappointed in the fried calamari because I did ask if it included tentacles and the bartender said it's pretty much half and half but there really wasn't a lot of tentacles Three rating because the bartender was super unfriendly and at one point offensive. I don't think he's in the best of moods these days 🤣. for me it's important to feel welcomed.

The seafood was amazing. Super fresh. Service was a little slow but otherwise great. For 2 people with an appetizer and clam chowder it came to about $125, no alcohol drinks.

Most exciting experience with daughter! We had a great food and experience from last visit about a month ago and we decided to bring daughter here. Unfortunately we didn’t know weekend recommended for call ahead for reservation. We were very lucky because lady who was probably a family of restaurant or at least manager took care us after we told her how nice the last visit was. She smiled and happily escorted us to the table a few minutes later! We now live in Virginia but lived in NJ for over 12 yrs and have nostalgia. Bahrs gave us again, the Nostalgic and unforgettable memories that our family can have for life with great foods and well trained servers. Thanks all for gave us this opportunity to have ‘Bahrs’ again🤗
