I went to Shoprite in Morristown on July 31,2022. I was at checkout by registers and a cashier was waiting on me .There was also a young kid who was touching my food trying to help. They had a jar out for donations . I get very taken back when I see a jar in a business that is trying to get donations from shoppers.I think it is wrong and should not be allowed . Even a nonprofit charity business will use 15 percent on administration fees and 10 percent on fundraising and 75 percent of its budget on programs. So if you donate 1 dollar 15 cents goes to administration, 10 cents goes to fundraising and 75 percent goes to cause. One is better off giving GOODS / PRODUCTS, called non monitory donations directly to fund of your choice. Also note a Charity should always send a Thank you note to people that donate. Check out CHARITY NAVIGATOR before you decide to give a penny so you know exactly where money is going and how much . If a business is sponsoring a profit or nonprofit charity they should post in writing for customers to see how much is going to the cause , administration and advertising . This way people are aware and can decide for themselves. There are many benefits for a business to sponsor a charity such as tax deductions , own financial gain and advertising their products they sell in store and it brings in more customers so more money for the business. It is good to give from your heart just be aware who is getting the funds and how much of it is going to the cause. Donor Beware !

Finding a cart is like hot bunking on a Navy ship. Self checkouts need more help, consistently freeze if you blow air on them. Bring your own bags and cart if you have one.

online shopping has not been a good experience. wait times for the lppick up option can be over a half an hour sitting in the parking lot! many times items that were said to be out of stock were actually available when I went into the store myself.

Really big grocery store with a big choice of every product you need. They have everything you need.

No hand washing, no gloves, no hygiene . Today I'd purchased my lunch at the salad bar. Could not locate forks at all. I asked someone at the self check out and pointed me to the direction. NO forks. Ok go back. She pointed me to an other person who was in a nice deep personal conversation with some shoppers. I'd interrupted him and reluctantly came. He than with his hands no gloves nor knowing where those hands has been took out a stack of forks put them on the counter(who knows what has been on that counter) and tries to refill the forks. When I question him about the lack of hand washing, gloves he got very offensive. Others were waiting of forks too, he declared loud and clear that he has a Karen and needs to fulfill my wishes to fill the forks than left. Tried to contact the manager, but could not come to the costumer service desk. Why would anyone expect an other human being to eat with forks that has been handled by a person who clearly did not wash hands nor wear gloves from a counter that could have had a toddler siting on with dirty diaper.

Rude and offensive self check out monitoring person. She was belittling and would not allow me to retrieve a cart to move my items to my vehicle (that I had already paid for) with the new environmental bag policy in affect. Was pushy for me to purchase their overpriced store branded bags. She could have offered another alternative or took 30 seconds to watch my items while I got an empty cart which was literally outside the door. This poor excuse for an employee is why other markets are more highly regarded than ShopRite.

The shop at home service here is the worst. I don't think there has ever been a time where our order was 100% correct. The only reason we kept doing it is because the convenience of picking up the order far outweighed the cost of the missing items. Last Friday their customer service took it to an all time low. On our recent shop from home order we were shorted over $40 worth of groceries. When we called the store no one answered the phone. We had to wait until we got off of work to go back in person. When we got there we asked to speak with the manager...after waiting over 30 minutes Corey came down and basically told us that there was nothing he could do because the computer said they gave us all of the items. Well, Corey I can assure you we did not. I can also assure you that the last think I wanted to do Friday night was waste 2 hours going back to Shoprite to correct their issue. I asked Corey if I could speak to his boss and he said there was no one else in charge. This was a complete waste of time and my wife and I are completely disappointed in the entire experience. We understand that mistakes happen, but to completely brush us off was completely unacceptable! We will be calling the store manager.

We placed a shop from home order. My husband picked up the order and I unpacked everything. There was about $41 worth of cheese, deli meat and hummus that was missing but was on the receipt. I tried calling the customer service line several times with no answer at all. I had to wait until 5 pm after work to physically go to the store to see if they left a bag behind. I waited a half an hour for manager, Cory, for him to tell me that his records show we received all of the bags. We absolutely did not have the groceries regardless of what his computer tells him. He told us there was nothing he could do and there was no one else we could escalate the issue to. So we had no choice but to leave and I’m left wondering how to get my money back. This is not the only issue we’ve had with Shop from home but this was absolutely the worst. I will never use that service again and I recommend you do the same.

Looks like a brand new Shop Rite location. Definitely the best interior I've ever seen out of all the other Shop Rite stores. Very clean, with lots of registers. Lack of self checkout is a strange thing for me. Also, one of the places that still can't figure out that it's not "10 items or less" it's "fewer". Decent selection of liquor and beer here too.

A really great supermarket. A well provisioned deli with a great variety of cold cuts and cheese. Hot food counters with a variety of cuisines, including Asian, Italian, etc. The variety of sea food is also large, along with a station selling hamburgers and breakfast meals. Pharmacy and liquor departments are part of store. Plenty of parking is available.
