Weekday people will find Rosalynn and Jennifer not only respectful (extremely rare these days) but also proficient problem solvers and what little they don't know they will find out as they genuinely care about saving the customer money. Worth noting- I always found their car's to be free of debris unlike a local brand name competitor. But to be fair, if I had to find fault with something, it would be the lot car's front and back windows showing a bit too much smearing. I couldn't help but see as I sat waiting for the store to open because it was not direct sun rather daylight which maybe more prone to highlighting such things.

If you have free money to give away. Definitely this is your one stop shop. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM I repeat do not rent from them unless your ready to put up a fight to get YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY BACK FROM THEM. They are crooks! Jennifer is a liar! I wouldn't recommend this place would rather walk..I rented a car from the Dover office.. make sure you video the whole car I'm so lucky I did the car had tape on bumper a lot of scratches and driver side handle was missing cover.. when they inspected car the day I brought it back she acted as if I did the scratches and lost cover on door handle. I told her the girl video tape when I rented car she said I probably will not be able to find it.. I then said I video it to should have seen look on her face.. I would never rent there again I rather walk..

Rented a car for a long trip to South Carolina, apon loading the Kia Soul I noticed a Heavy smell of fabrez. After an hour on the road the fabrez wore off and and was replaced by a putrid cigarette smell that made our trip unbearable. We had to have our windows down the whole time while driving. Asked to speak to the Owner, but never returned our call. This is bad business in my opinion.

When you walk in, there is a board on the wall where the staff tracks their “tantrums”, and the service you receive from the staff there after lines up with that level of professionalism. Generally in a service business the customer is looked at as just that, the customer, not an inconvenience to the day of the staff. Quick tip, rolling your eyes at customers, speaking to them with a tone and mannerisms showing the customer they are a bother to you, is not how you get repeat business. Also $109 a day for a rental is indeed legal price gauging. They are taking advantage of people on the tail end of a pandemic and charging triple what they would have before the pandemic. And I’m top of charging triple to people who are desperate during a national nightmare, they are rude to them. Not only will I not recommended them to anyone I will ensure everyone I know, knows to stay away. I should have driven to Wayne to a reputable business rather than go for the closer low class option. I fully expect the staff to respond to this review rudely rather than apologize as they have to several of the negative reviews on here.

My husband and I had to rent a vehicle to see my ill mother in Florida last minute. This was the only rental service that would worked with us. My husband is 6.5 and once the owner looked at him she gave us an amazing deal on a SUV so he would be comfortable on that long drive. The owner and staff were so amazing to deal with. And the owners daughter was just as amazing and helpful as well. We will rent with them again and I HIGHLY recommend them over any other car rental service. We have rented vehicles all over the US and this was the best service we have ever received.

Ok...there service is pretty good If they want it to be..I felt I was overcharged because rented from them two times, with no problems(same number of miles). This time I was overcharged because they say I went over the mileage because I didn't specify were I was going,(the same place as the other 2 times)... I guess its my words against there's and I guess they have the power to manipulate the price how ever they want.. even though it says unlimited miles.. This place was the better choice once upon a time.. but I see now they're all playing these type of games.. so no, This company doesn't stand out from the competition, they're all the same..smdh....

This is the first time renting from Dover Rent-A-Wreck and I could not have had a better experience. Extremely nice and helpful people, I would rate their customer service a 10 if I could. The vehicle was very clean and drove well. Great price, so I felt I got value for the money.

Stay Away from this place- Rent A Wreck Dover you had to know this was coming after what transpired on Saturday. I wish this would let you not even put a star because this place doesn't even deserve that much! I made a reservation with Rent a Wreck in your Dover, NJ location on Tuesday June 1st for a June 12trh pick-up. The reservation was for a 12 passenger van that we needed for a wedding reception. I called the location in Dover where the reservation was made on Friday June 11th to make sure that the van was ready to go. The young lady that I spoke to confirmed the van was on location and ready for pick up the following day at 9am. When I arrived for pickup on Saturday at 9am I was told the van was in Jersey City and the only way I could have it was if I drove down to Jersey City to pick it up. We asked the lady at the desk if someone could go and pick it up and she said she spoke to her manager Dan and said absolutely not that if we wanted it then we would have to drive down to Jersey City and pick it up ourselves otherwise there was nothing else that could be done. I was really taken back by the lack of customer service that was being offered. You were very quick to take our $50.00 deposit but then when it came time for customer service all bets were off. I can easily say I will never make another reservation with Rent a Wreck in the future. Rent a Wreck should really spend some time on training their employees on proper customer service especially management most places try to do whatever possible to make a bad situation better I guess that doesn't apply with your company. Not to worry another car rental company maybe you have heard of it Enterprise was able to bail us out and we were able to get a van to accommodate us for the wedding we had to attend.
