I thought that racism is for ignorant people, but the owner of the place told me showed that racism has no flag. I went to buy pizza and lasagna, I spoke to him in Italian because I know how to speak it natively, and he had heard the owner speak it, and he was annoyed and blunt, when he charged me I took the opportunity to ask him if it bothered him that I spoke to him in Italian, and he replied it was that we are in 🇺🇸 and that English is spoken here. maybe it annoys me that a dark-skinned person consumed in his place ordering food in Italian. To conclude, he charged me more, because the lasagna on the menu was $12.90 and he gave me $15.90 and he didn't even give me a purchase receipt. and while I was waiting for my order, a white person arrived to look for his order, in the end the owner looked for a conversation and gave me 1 free drink. To be honest, he made me feel despised because of my color and because I spoke his native language. very unfortunate.

Every time I visit Carlstadt I always eat at Ralph’s. Sure the owner can be a little abrupt but it’s New Jersey. The penne vodka pasta is seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. Get it with sausage!

Have been a LONG time customer of Ralphs from previous owner. New management is terrible!! Got my order wrong. I called to let them know and instead of taking responsibility, they BLAMED ME! When i asked about the prices, I find out they OVERCHARGED me by almost $10. And still no real explanation. The man was rude and impatient. But don’t worry they just lost a long time patron.

Not sure what happened usually get really good orders but tonight the chx cutlet sandwich was like rubber and fries were pretty bad and the chicken soup was almost entirely different from last time. Maybe just a bad night but for 30 dollars you would hope for a little better.

Disappointment: when you return home from living out of state and rush to go have a slice of what you once knew but no longer. That was my most recent visit felt like. Crust is way too thick, cheese to sauce ratio is also off. I have been going to Ralph’s in East Rutherford for over 15 years, last time I visited, previous owners were still there (always warm). It is surprising to see how much the quality has decreased under the new ownership. In addition, said new owner was rude and aggressive- even with my 7yr old nephew who was hungry and of course asking how long it will take because his favorite food is pizza :( Will not be back..

We order from here all the time and always ask for our pizzas well done. This is the first time it came completely burnt. When I called to tell them about it I was told that's what happens when you ask for it well done. and then was told he could give me 15% off my next pizza. He also told me if it was that burnt they would have never sent it out. Well they did and it was that burnt. Just because he was that rude I will not be ordering again and our orders are never small.

Photo says most of it. Too much crust didn’t appear that way in pictures. Dry. Ranch helped. This is my first 3 star review.. just being honest, it got really great reviews so, maybe just a bad night for them?? Idk.
